Joe Biden presides over one of the most lawless regimes in American history.
He’s determined to go out with a bang.
And a federal prosecutor dropped one fact that sent Joe Biden into a fit of rage.
Biden lies about the charges against Hunter Biden in his pardon
President Joe Biden issued a sweeping blanket pardon for Hunter Biden for any federal crimes dating back to 2014.
Hunter pled guilty to felony tax charges and was convicted by a jury for felony firearms charges earlier this year.
The Democrat President tried to make it seem like Hunter was singled out and given unfair treatment.
Biden complained that his Justice Department was “selectively and unfairly” prosecuting his son.
Former federal prosecutor Andy McCarthy said that no one could escape serious punishment for the crimes Hunter committed during an appearance on Fox News.
Biden falsely claimed in his statement on the pardon that Americans “are almost never brought to trial” or face jail time for lying on federal firearms background check forms.
“So if I rob a bank, but I bring the money back, that’s okay? It’s idiotic,” McCarthy said. “As far as the gun case is concerned, that was not what they call a lie-and-try case where you fill out the form but you don’t get the gun because they find out there’s a problem. [Hunter] actually got the gun. Those cases get brought all the time.”
Hunter Biden initially received a sweetheart plea deal that would have seen him enter a pretrial diversion program to avoid felony gun charges.
Biden claims evading millions in taxes is a minor crime
Biden claimed in his pardon statement that people with drug addictions are typically allowed to pay their back taxes and receive no criminal charges.
His 54-year-old son’s criminal behavior is excused by his family and the media as nothing more than a helpless kid struggling with addiction.
McCarthy was amazed at the gall of Biden’s excuse for his son’s income tax evasion.
“As for a tax violation, it’s just like the bank robbery, it’s a little bit of a drastic example, but I think it makes the point,” McCarthy explained. “Paying back the money that you owe doesn’t mean that you didn’t commit the crime. It’s not a defense.”
Playing the drug addict card doesn’t buy a normal American a free pass on felony income tax evasion charges.
Hunter Biden failed to pay $1.4 million in federal income tax over a three-year period, and he tried to write off tens of thousands of dollars he spent on prostitutes as a business expense.
“So it’s just — those are just silly arguments and in point of fact, he got cut break after break because he was Hunter Biden, because he was the President’s son,” McCarthy said. “This idea that he was singled out for that reason, they actually tried to make the case against him going away which is a break that no American would get.”
Hunter Biden’s kid glove treatment by federal prosecutors and eventual pardon is more confirmation of the two-tiered justice system that Joe Biden created.
