Democrats are coming apart at the seams after one of their own pointed out the obvious

The woke mob is in full control of the modern Democrat Party.

But the post-election question is how tight of a grip will they have going forward?

And now Democrats are coming apart at the seams after one of their own pointed out the obvious.

To understand this properly, we have to remember that Democrats’ extreme ideology has effectively become a woke religious cult, and social justice keyboard warriors are the enforcers.

Dissent must be squashed or dissenters must be excommunicated.

Surely Representative Seth Moulton (D-MA) knew as much, but after President-elect Donald Trump’s win and the GOP picking up four Senate seats, he believes now is the time to speak up.

In a letter to The New York Times, Moulton wrote, “Democrats spend way too much time trying not to offend anyone rather than being brutally honest about the challenges many Americas face.”

“I have two little girls,” he added. “I don’t want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or a former male athlete, but as a Democrat I’m supposed to be afraid to say that.”

There’s a lot to unpack there.

You see, he knows he is supposed to be afraid to even say this publicly.

As a Democrat, he’s required to participate in this delusion and tip-toe around everyone’s fragile state of mind.

Theodore Dalrymple wrote, “In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity.”

“To assent to obvious lies is . . . in some small way to become evil oneself,” he continued. “One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended.”

And since Rep. Moulton refused to keep silent, social justice warriors just made him their public enemy number one.

Moulton continued, “We did not lose the 2024 election because of any trans person or issue. We lost, in part, because we shame and belittle too many opinions held by too many voters and that needs to stop.”

And the counter-attack ensued.

Instead of engaging in a debate or at least toning down the rhetoric, Massachusetts Democrat state Rep. Manny Cruz accused Moulton of “betraying” the LGBTQQIP2SAA+ community.

Not to be outdone, Democrat city councilor Kyle Davis insisted that an apology from Moulton wouldn’t suffice, only his resignation.

No word if Davis prefers Moulton to be shipped to Guantanamo.

Needless to say Moulton isn’t the only Democrat trying to avoid being blown out in 2026 and 2028.

Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) told Semafor, “Republicans created a really powerful message: ‘She’s for they/them, and Trump is for you.'”

‘That was, I think, our cycle’s version of ‘Where’s the beef?’ or, ‘I knew Jack Kennedy, and you’re no Jack Kennedy,’” he added. “That kept hitting again and again and again and again for tens of millions of dollars. It had an earworm quality. And I’m not surprised that that resonated.”

HBO host Bill Maher came out more forcefully, saying, “Losers need to look in the mirror. [Democrats] couldn’t even imagine a second Trump term but they should have.”

“Look at the facts,” he added. “It is just the facts. Trump won all the swing states – all seven – and he ran the table.”

Honest reflection takes time, and Democrats will have to realize they were far out of touch with the American electorate.

Whether it is the border, men playing against women in sports, or fighting a war in Ukraine with little public support, Democrats have some major soul searching to do.
