Springfield, Ohio was a big topic of conversation in the 2024 election as it stood as a prime example of how Democrats’ open borders agenda prioritizes illegal aliens over Americans.
But of course Democrats did everything they could to pretend as though all of the reports coming out of the city were “conspiracy theories.”
And now the latest illegal alien takeover of yet another small town proves your community could be next.
Ground zero for the illegal alien takeover of America
People living in the small town of Lockland, Ohio are feeling pressured to move to a new location and start over thanks to the deteriorating conditions there.
It’s all thanks to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ non-existent border security policies, which have prompted the small town of just 3,400 people to deal with an influx of 3,000 illegal aliens.
Most of the illegal aliens are African Muslims from the country of Mauritania.
This sudden influx, which occurred over just the past year or two, has pushed Lockland’s budget and its ability to provide services to citizens to its breaking point.
Mark Mason Sr., Mayor of Lockland, said the town’s government is having a tough time keeping up with the influx, as most of the illegals are flat-out broke and can’t afford to live there independently.
Speaking with Fox News, Mason said, “Our fire and paramedic services have been stressed. Since they moved into these apartment complexes, a lot of the longtime residents have moved out because of multiple fires. It’s been caused by their not understanding how to cook on stoves, and they use high levels of grease in their cooking, which have caused multiple fires.”
The Mayor added that the illegal aliens are displacing working families and noted that a lot of people living in Lockland “don’t want to subject their families to unsafe conditions in these apartment complexes. So, therefore, they’ve moved out – the working residents – and they have moved in.”
He also made it clear that “most don’t have jobs, they don’t contribute to society. They don’t contribute to our earnings tax base. And it’s a real concern.”
Fox News talked to several Lockland residents, and one said that the illegal aliens are filling apartment buildings with more people per unit than is legally allowed per both state and county laws.
One resident named Kelly said her apartment complex is now called “the African village” because there are so many Mauritanians living there.
She said they don’t know how to use electric stoves properly and their cooking has started several fires.
“With the illegals hanging out in the apartment, at first they were hanging out 50 a day out in the parking lots and walking around. They don’t move out of your way when you’re driving. They don’t seem to care,” she said.
Kelly also noted that the Lockland Fire Department is at her apartment complex at least “every other day.”
Residents feel threatened
Some people living in Lockland said they feel threatened by the sheer number of illegal aliens loitering in the streets, sometimes in groups of up to 50 people at once.
According to the Mayor, many of the male illegal aliens walk around public spaces and disrespect females, which makes them feel unsafe in their own hometowns.
“If you’re going to let immigrants just come over freely, you’ve got to educate them on the cultural differences in how things operate here and make them understand that some of the things that maybe you’re used to in Mauritania [isn’t] necessarily acceptable here in the United States,” said Mason.
He also noted that his village of just 1.2 square miles “can just not absorb almost a doubling in [our] population. It’s unsustainable.”
Mason said the federal government “has let us down. Shame on the federal government for allowing this to happen to small communities like ours. It’s happening throughout the country.”
The influx is largely thanks to the Biden-Harris regime’s decision to “fast track” hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens into the country via the United Nation’s Safe Mobility Initiative.
