Kamala Harris thought Democrats were unified behind her campaign.
But she got a wake-up call that hit her like a ton of bricks.
And a Democrat revolt left Kamala Harris in this bad spot heading toward the election.
Democrat group looks to kneecap Kamala in Michigan
A fissure has emerged in the Democrat Party over the war between Israel and Hamas.
The Party’s base of younger woke extremists, along with Islamists, have been pushing for a permanent ceasefire on Israel in the conflict, essentially tying their hands while giving the terrorists who surround them open season on the Jewish state.
Vice President Kamala Harris has tried to play both sides of the conflict by giving them just enough hope that she backs their point of view.
But one left-wing group in the swing state of Michigan is fed up with Kamala and is working to cost her the state.
Left-wing activist group Drive for 75 aims to turn out 75% of the nearly 200,000 Muslims living in Michigan to vote.
A high turnout among the state’s Muslim population would cause Kamala to lose Michigan, according to the group.
Driver for 75 founder Rex Nazarko is traveling to mosques and canvassing Muslim voters to build support for his mission.
“What was a guarantee for [a Kamala loss] to happen? We tried with different percentages and different turnouts, and with the 75% number, again, accounting only for the Muslim community, not other communities, not other allies, not other progressives. It essentially guaranteed a 99.9% likelihood of the vice president losing the election in Michigan, if 75% of [the community turned out],” Nazarko explained.
Nazarko claimed his group ran mathematical models to come up with a strategy.
“We ran that simulation 10,000 times, and almost every time that was the case,” Nazarko said. “So that’s how we got the Drive for 75 call to action and idea.”
Kamala can’t afford to lose Michigan
Nazarko said his group wanted to send a message to the Democrat Party and was willing to accept a victory for former President Donald Trump to ensure they’re heard loud and clear.
“[The Muslim American community] lost their faith in the Democratic Party and the Democratic administration, so they’re out to kind of hold them accountable,” Nazarko said. “And I don’t want to necessarily say punish, but it is also a punishment vote, in a sense. I think that they’re desperate. We’re desperate. It’s also a vote of desperation.”
President Joe Biden won Michigan in the 2020 election by about 150,000 votes.
This year, more than 100,000 Michiganders voted uncommitted in the state’s Democrat Presidential Primary as a protest vote against the Biden-Harris regime’s handling of the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Muslim leaders who pushed for a protest vote against Biden in that Primary are now trying to get their supporters to vote against Kamala.
Not every Muslim will vote for former President Donald Trump.
Green Party Presidential candidate Jill Stein received the endorsement of the Abandon Harris group.
Stephanie Butler, the 12th Congressional District Republican Committee Chair, said Kamala angered the Muslim community by touting her endorsement by former Vice President Dick Cheney.
“Here’s the new thing going around, people are saying that, ‘hello, she’s been endorsed by Dick Cheney.’ That tells you everything you need to know about this woman: that her intentions are war,” Butler stated.
Kamala Harris could need a clean sweep of the Rust Belt swing states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania to win.
She could lose Michigan in a tight race because part of the Democrat base turned against her.
