Democrats are already preparing contingency plans in the event the election doesn’t go their way.
They’re preparing to pull out all the stops to install Kamala Harris in the White House by any means necessary.
And James Comer destroyed a Trump impeachment manager for this scheme to upend the 2024 election.
Democrats plot to keep Donald Trump out of the White House
Democrats are coming to grips with the fact that former President Donald Trump could be victorious on Election Day after throwing everything but the kitchen sink against him.
But as far as Democrats are concerned, the fight to keep Trump out of the White House won’t stop on Election Day.
Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) served as one of the impeachment managers against Trump and voted against certifying the former President’s 2016 victory – an act that Democrats and their media allies now claim is a “threat to democracy” when Republicans do it.
He told Axios that if Trump “won a free, fair and honest election, then we would obviously accept it.”
But Raskin suggested that he didn’t believe the former President was doing everything above board, even though there’s zero evidence to suggest that may be the case.
The Democrat Congressman claimed that Trump “is doing whatever he can to try to interfere with the process, whether we’re talking about manipulating electoral college counts in Nebraska or manipulating the vote count in Georgia or imposing other kinds of impediments.”
Raskin has already indicated that if Democrats win control of the House in November, they may try to block Trump from becoming President should the American people elect him.
“I don’t know what kind of shenanigans he is planning,” Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) said. “We would have to, in any election… make sure that all the rules have been followed.”
Schakowsky objected to former President George W. Bush’s victory in the 2004 election in Congress.
Democrats are setting the stage to use a cheap excuse to block Trump from becoming President if they win the House majority.
Comer comes out swinging at plot against Trump
House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) took Raskin to task for threatening to stop Trump from becoming President, even if he wins the election.
“Ranking member Raskin is the ultimate hypocrite,” Comer told Fox News. “He talks a big game about ‘saving democracy’ yet actively undermines it by sowing seeds of doubt in America’s free and fair elections when it benefits him to do so. [He’s a] a two-time election denier.”
Democrats claim to care about democracy, but all they care about is preserving their stranglehold on power in Washington, D.C.
“[He] suggested the 2000 election was illegitimate and didn’t certify election results when Trump won the White House in 2016,” Comer explained. “Now ranking member Raskin is signaling he’d do the same if Trump wins again in November. Raskin doesn’t care at all about democracy. He only cares about putting a Democrat in the White House whatever the cost.”
House Republicans only have a slim majority going into the election.
If Democrats hold the Senate or flip the House, voting against Trump’s certification could be their last-ditch effort to keep the former President from taking office.
