The Democrat Party loves to tell everyone that the world is just steps away from an existential threat.

Whether it’s climate change, a deadly pandemic, Russian bots online, or merely Donald Trump, they’re here to protect you.

And now John Kerry just exposed the Democrats’ plan to save the world and patriots are absolutely furious.

Less than one third of Americans are in favor of eliminating fossil fuels

The American people have long been united over conservation efforts with a focus on keeping our environment clean and thriving.

In recent years, environmental extremism has taken a different course, and now the Democrat Party leads the effort to radically change the way that we live.

Democrats obsess over the global imperative to reduce carbon in the atmosphere to protect future generations from climate change.

But not everyone agrees with the plans that they have in place to eliminate so-called fossil fuels and usher in a new era of renewable energy.

According to Pew Research, less than one third of U.S. adults want to “phase out the use of oil, coal, and natural gas completely” in favor of renewable sources.

The survey data is largely split down party lines, with only 12 percent of Republicans in favor of Democrats’ objective.

The partisan divide is not just over the solution — it’s over the problem in the first place.

Fewer than one-in-four Republicans view climate change as a major threat compared to 78% of Democrats.

Now, the Biden-Harris regime’s Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, John Kerry, has proposed a solution to the disunity in the climate change conversation.

Kerry: Democracies have proven themselves to be too slow to fix the problem

Kerry has now identified what he says is the “problem” surrounding building consensus about climate change.

Kerry says that “democracies” and “free speech” are making it much more difficult to govern.

The diplomat made the comments for a crowd at the World Economic Forum’s summit on green energy.

“If people only go to one source, and the source they go to is sick, and, you know, has an agenda, and they’re putting out disinformation, our First Amendment stands as a major roadblock,” he said.

Kerry says that Democrats need to “win the ground, win the right to govern, by hopefully winning enough votes that [they] are free to be able to implement change.”

But he is concerned about “dangerous” people in the United States that want to “implement change in other ways.”

Then he may have exposed himself as the very “dangerous” person he described.

“I think Democracies are our very challenge right now and have not proven they can move fast enough or big enough to deal with the challenges that we are facing,” he said.

“To me that is what this race, this election, is all about,” he added.

Kerry wants to cure our nation of the skepticism over his solutions.

“I don’t know how @JohnKerry can say such things without bursting into flames. . .”

Social media users responded in a chorus of concerns over Kerry’s anti-Free Speech position.

Warnings of totalitarianism and the erasure of our Constitutional rights began to trend.

Independent journalist Alex Berenson called the comments “truly extraordinary” and urged concern to everyone.

“A man at the very top of the Democratic Party—a former Democratic presidential candidate—no longer even pretends to believe in the First Amendment. Watch and be afraid,” he wrote.

The X account End Wokeness warned this was another call for “a Ministry of Truth.”

Trump transition team co-chairman Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said that Kerry was “correct” in his assessment.

“The 1st Amendment DOES stand as a major roadblock for them right now,” he said.

Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk said that Kerry wants to “violate the constitution.”

Clinical psychologist and free speech activist, Dr. Jordan Peterson said, “I don’t know how @JohnKerry can say such things without bursting into flames.”

The path towards “consensus” is not shutting down freedom of speech.

That will only force dissenting voices to plant their feet even harder.

So much for “our democracy.”
