Democrats’ obsession with woke indoctrination has ruined late-night TV in America.
The ratings are down for every late-night show except for Fox News’ Gutfeld.
And Donald Trump helped Greg Gutfeld reach one milestone that left Kamala Harris sweating bullets.
Late-night TV shows were wildly popular in the United States during the days of hosts like Johnny Carson, Dave Letterman, and Jay Leno.
But that all changed when woke extremist hosts like Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, and Jimmy Kimmel came along and turned late-night television into one long Democrat infomercial.
As a result, the ratings for late-night TV shows are now in the tank.
But there is one exception in the downfall of late-night TV.
Fox News’ Gutfeld! has been crushing the ratings for late-night television.
Hosted by Greg Gutfeld, it previously became the first cable program to beat out broadcast networks for the “most-watched” late-night show.
Former President Donald Trump appeared on Gutfeld! last Wednesday for a taped interview that aired during prime-time hours.
The last time Trump made an appearance on late-night TV was on NBC’s The Tonight Show in 2016.
On Wednesday, Trump joined Greg Gutfeld and his panel of guests for the entire hour of the show’s recording.
“Trump joined host Greg Gutfeld for the entire hour, participating in the program’s signature banter alongside Kat Timpf, Tyrus and Outnumbered co-host Emily Compagno,” Fox News reported. “The former President was asked about surviving a pair of assassination attempts, the ABC Presidential Debate, and criticism he receives from celebrities.”
During the interview, Donald Trump talked about how ratings have “gone down the tubes” for many shows after the hosts “went woke.”
He specifically mentioned Howard Stern as an example.
“I know some of them, like Howard, I was on Howard Stern as much as anybody, and he was great at that time, and then he went woke,” Trump told Gutfeld. “Since he’s gone woke his ratings have gone down the tubes, and he sort of went anti-Trump for a couple of reasons, but I was on his show a lot. He has a best of, the best of Howard Stern, I don’t want to promote it, necessarily, but I was there for just about all of them.”
“He’s changed, and he doesn’t do the ratings anymore,” he added.
But while Howard Stern’s ratings are at rock bottom, Donald Trump’s appearance helped Greg Gutfeld draw his largest audience in the program’s history.
Nearly five million viewers tuned in live to watch Trump’s appearance on Gutfeld!
This included 744,000 viewers in the coveted 25 to 54-year-old demographic.
“Gutfeld! consistently scores as the highest-rated late night talk show program on network television, earning higher marks compared to similar fare on ABC, CBS and NBC, even though it airs about 90 minutes earlier than shows on those networks,” MSN reported. “On Wednesday, Trump’s appearance helped it solidify its lead in prime-time television, earning higher ratings than the debut of Survivor on CBS and The Golden Bachelorette on ABC.”
According to Nielsen MRI Fusion, Gutfeld! didn’t just attract Republicans and conservative viewers.
Trump’s appearance also attracted more viewers who identify as Democrat or Independent compared to all other late-night programs on broadcast and cable TV.
The ratings don’t lie.
The numbers show Americans across the board are interested in Donald Trump.
And that should terrify Kamala Harris and her campaign.
