The corporate media adores everything about Kamala Harris.
A Washington Post columnist even went so far as to call Kamala Harris’ husband a “progressive sex symbol” and a “hunk.”
But Kamala Harris was fuming when Megyn Kelly reminded her listeners what Doug Emhoff did to his first wife.
During the first three-and-a-half years of President Joe Biden’s lone term in office, Democrats’ media allies treated Vice President Kamala Harris like a total embarrassment to the Democrat Party.
They pointed out how polls showed her as the least popular Vice President in the past 50 years and ran stories about the toxic work environment in her office.
But that all changed the moment Joe Biden withdrew from the race and endorsed Kamala Harris as the new nominee.
After treating Kamala Harris like an evil stepchild, Democrats’ allies in the corporate media now portray her as a great leader and effective politician.
Even though it’s been more than five weeks since Kamala Harris emerged as the Democrat nominee, she still hasn’t sat down for a single interview with the press.
Kamala Harris finally gave Americans a glimpse at where she stands on the issues last week when she released her economic plan.
And her plan was so bad that one Washington Post columnist even ripped Kamala Harris for advocating communist-style price controls.
“It’s hard to exaggerate how bad this policy is,” Washington Post columnist Catherine Rampell wrote. “It is, in all but name, a sweeping set of government-enforced price controls across every industry, not only food.”
Rampell took heat for daring to criticize Kamala Harris.
And the heat was too much for her to handle.
On Saturday, Rampell published another piece in The Washington Post about Kamala Harris.
But this time, Kamala’s husband, Doug Emhoff, was the subject of her attention.
In an article entitled Doug Emhoff: Modern Day Sex-Symbol, Rampell gushes over Emhoff, describing him as a “progressive sex symbol” and a “hunk.”
Rampell then spends the rest of her puff piece praising Doug Emhoff for being a henpecked man.
“He loves his job, but he loves his wife more,” she wrote. “He knows that ‘supporting’ one’s family is about more than financial support, and that temporarily setting aside his own professional ego makes him no less of a man.”
But former Fox News host Megyn Kelly could not disagree more with Rampell’s opinion of Doug Emhoff.
And during a recent episode of her podcast, Kelly told her listeners exactly what Rampell got wrong.
“This is very interesting,” Kelly said. “It’s by Catherine Rampell of The Washington Post.”
Kelly pointed out that Rampell is the one who “wrote the piece ripping Kamala’s economic plan to shreds on the price gouging” and “got killed by her readers on the left.”
As for Emhoff being a “progressive sex symbol” and a “hunk,” Kelly called Rampell “absolutely disgusting.”
She also reminded her listeners of what Doug Emhoff did to his first wife with their nanny.
She said Emhoff was “a man who may I remind you cheated on his first wife with the nanny whom he impregnated.”
“They either aborted the child or he abandoned the child,” Kelly added. “Either way, no bueno.”
