The countdown clock is ticking as voters wait for Kamala Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, to finally start answering questions rather than reading scripts from teleprompters.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s running mate is routinely entering enemy territory and inviting Democrats’ media allies to take their best shots.

And now J.D. Vance just took The New York Times to school over this reporter’s despicable lie about the Biden-Harris regime.

Kamala Harris can run, and apparently, she can hide

Former President Barack Obama was barely out of the Illinois state Senate and only in the U.S. Senate for a cup of coffee before he began running for the White House.

His status as a newcomer allowed voters to ascribe anything they liked onto the blank-slate candidate.

The strategy worked as Obama cruised to victory in 2008.

The Kamala Harris campaign – which is largely staffed by alumni of Obama’s campaigns – appears to be following the script.

And with the complicit media aiding her, she might just get away with it despite the most extreme record of any major party Presidential candidate in American history.

The Biden-Harris Border Czar refuses to give any interviews, even with friendly news outlets.

And her running mate, Minnesota Democrat Governor Tim Walz – who is just as radical – is following suit by avoiding at all costs answering any difficult questions.

Former President Donald Trump and his running mate, Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH), are taking the opposite approach.

They’re going into the lion’s den, taking the best attack from their assailants, and fighting back.

Trump has the integrity and bravery to go on hostile grounds and take combative and divisive questions from the National Black Journalists Association conference.

Vance spent all last weekend on CNN, ABC News, and CBS News explaining how the Trump-Vance ticket is pro-family while the Harris-Walz ticket wants to end the nuclear family.

Vance teaches the New York Times a lesson on inflation

But Vance wasn’t done there.

At a rally in Michigan, the Hillbilly Elegy author answered any and all questions from reporters in attendance.

Even those asked in bad faith, like this one from The New York Times.

“I wanted to ask you about the latest economic news from this morning, with inflation now being under 3%, the lowest rate since 2021,” The Times reporter began. “What is your, sort of, reaction to that news?”

The self-proclaimed “journalist” couldn’t even finish the question before the audience burst out into laughter.

Similarly, Vance couldn’t keep a straight face at the notion of inflation being under 3%.

“The crowd reaction says it all,” Vance started. “When they say inflation is ‘down,’ they mean from a baseline where groceries are already 30% more expensive than they were when Donald Trump was President.”

Vance then taught the reporter from the so-called “paper of record” a lesson about what inflation means.

“They’re not saying it’s (inflation) coming down – they’re just saying it’s not going up as fast as it was three years ago,” Vance continued. “That is not a reputation or record to brag on. That’s a record to be ashamed of.”

J.D. Vance blames runaway inflation on Kamala Harris

Vance could have added at this point that the “3%” number doesn’t actually reflect real price increases.

The core inflation number calculated by the government doesn’t factor in increases to food, energy, and other items that have skyrocketed since Trump left office.

And that’s why Vance doesn’t believe Vice President Kamala Harris when she says she’ll end runaway Kamalaflation if elected President.

“Why did it take them so long to get inflation to where it is and why are prices so high,” Vance asked back. “It’s because Kamala Harris failed to do her job.”

Senator Vance then pointed out how Kamala is trying to eat her cake and have it too.

“Kamala Harris, on the one hand, will say, ‘on day one we’re going to tackle the affordability crisis,’” Vance said. “Kamala Harris has been the Vice President for three-and-a-half years – and I think, ladies and gentlemen, she’s been in effect the acting President, because we all know Joe Biden isn’t home. So, she’s been the one controlling government policies for three-and-a-half years. She says she wants to tackle the affordability crisis on day one – and then on the other hand she’ll say, ‘Well, we already have inflation under control.’ Well, which is it Kamala? Which is it?”

Vance concluded by dropping some truth bombs about how Kamalaomics have crippled American families.

“The simple truth is, American’s credit card debt is getting higher,” Vance continued. “Americans are finding the basic necessities of middle class life less affordable. Americans – especially young people – are becoming paupers in their own country. If we don’t do better, our young generation, they’re not going to own anything, they’re not going to have anything, they’re going to be renters in the country their parents and grandparents built. Inflation is a disaster, Kamala Harris doesn’t have a leg to stand on.”
