This Republican Governor is seeing a fundraising boom as a result of his no-nonsense agenda

Few Americans realize just how early candidates begin planning for an election.

Oftentimes, even once elected, they began strategizing their reelection.

And this Republican Governor is seeing a fundraising boom as a result of his no-nonsense agenda.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is the talk of the town lately.

He continues to push the envelope and stand up to the left-wing extremists.

From going against the grain and not keeping his state locked down to signing a new election integrity law, DeSantis is not afraid to tell the Democrats where to step off.

Rumors are swirling that DeSantis has his eyes on the White House in 2024.

Only time and what decision former President Donald Trump makes will decide if the Governor runs, but one thing is for sure he’s all in for the 2022 Florida Governor’s race.

In April, Ron DeSantis raised nearly $14 million, which is his largest haul since his 2018 race for Governor.

Those types of fundraising numbers definitely smell like a future run for higher office.

By comparison, it took former Florida Governor and current Senator Rick Scott six months eight years ago to raise what DeSantis raised in just April of this year.

Democratic Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried, who is weighing a campaign against DeSantis, raised just over $360,000 in April and has approximately $1.5 million on hand.

Just last week, former Governor Charlie Crist, also a former Republican, announced he plans to run for his old seat as a Democrat in 2022, but Crist has a lot of catching up to do if he’s going to pull in the kind of funds DeSantis is raising.

DeSantis’ no holds barred attitude is beloved by many on the Right.

There is no doubt the Governor has aspirations of higher office, and he will undoubtedly be at the forefront of everyone’s minds for a while.
