Many of Biden’s appointees have been far-left extremists.
Biden’s ATF nominee David Chipman has garnered criticism for being an anti-Second Amendment activist pushing for stricter gun control.
And now this potential Biden appointee may be brought down by these shocking allegations from her past.
President Biden’s pick to lead the Bureau of Land Management, Tracy Stone-Manning, has a long history of radical environmental activism.
Most people would even consider her past actions as eco-terrorism.
As a graduate student in the late 1980s and early 90s, Stone-Manning was a member of the eco-terrorist group Earth First!
Earth First! was a radical environmental activist group that terrorized natural gas and logging companies for decades.
The group was also responsible for numerous pipeline shutdowns and tree spiking incidents that severely injured two individuals.
Tree spiking is a highly dangerous practice of impaling trees with metal rods, so that when a logger’s chainsaw cuts into the tree trunk the razor-sharp chain snaps off of the blade, which can cause serious injury to people in close proximity.
Now, Politico reports that a retired federal investigator who investigated Stone-Manning in 1989 has come forward again to testify to just how extreme Stone-Manning really was.
While being investigated for numerous tree spiking incidents, Stone -Manning “engaged in ‘vulgar, antagonistic, and extremely anti-government’ behavior during the 1989 investigation” said U.S. Forest Service criminal investigator Michael Merkley.
This comes after Stone-Manning – in a Senate hearing vetting her potential nomination – denied ever being aware of being the subject of any previous criminal investigations.
This proved to be a flat out lie.
According to Merkley, “she [Stone-Manning] was aware that she was being investigated in 1989 and again in 1993 when she agreed to the immunity deal to avoid criminal felony prosecution.”
That’s right. To avoid a lengthy prison sentence for her eco-terrorism, she snitched on her roommate, who was also involved in the tree spiking attacks.
Tracy Stone-Manning’s shocking behavior calls into question Biden’s judgment when picking nominees for pivotal government agencies.
Traditionally, people tapped to fill these roles have been less partisan and work out of the media spotlight. They’re supposed to be classic “public servants.”
But Biden has decided to politicize every government agency, and his nomination of Stone-Manning, an actual former terrorist, is incredibly alarming.
