This one Republican Governor just admitted he is considering running against Donald Trump in 2024

Donald Trump is leading by double digits in early 2024 Republican Presidential Primary polls.

But Never-Trumpers are looking to challenge him for the GOP nomination.

And now this one Republican Governor just admitted he is considering running against Donald Trump in 2024.

Donald Trump is most certainly running for President again in 2024.

With President Joe Biden’s approval ratings at all-time lows, Democrats are terrified of a rematch between him and Trump in just two years’ time.

This is leading more and more Democrats and their corporate-controlled media allies to publicly express their opposition to President Biden running for a second term.

But it’s not just Democrats who are looking for another candidate in 2024.

The establishment RINOs are desperately searching for someone who can defeat Donald Trump for the Republican nomination.

And during a Monday interview with The Washington Post, Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson tossed his hat in the ring when he admitted he was “thinking” about running for President in 2024.

However, Governor Hutchinson said he would not make a decision until after the 2022 Midterm elections.

“[I]t is really critical that we save that until after November of this year,” Hutchinson said. “And so, obviously, I am thinking about it, but I am not going to be making any decision until next January,” he continued, before adding that “we are going to focus on this year.”

Hutchinson has previously pushed the left-wing narrative that Donald Trump is too “violent” and “mean” to be President.

“But I think the test in 2024 is can a conservative who has a more optimistic view of America, that does not resort to personal grievances, can that person win?” the Arkansas Governor continued. “And that is what I want to be able to support in the fight for 2024.”

Of course, Governor Hutchinson is a Never-Trumper who wants to return the Republican Party to the days of John McCain and George W. Bush.

During an interview with CBS in July, Hutchinson sounded more like Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) than a “conservative” when he said Donald Trump “disqualified himself” to ever be President again with his actions on January 6.

After he revealed he may run for President in 2024, Hutchinson also admitted that his opposition to Donald Trump makes him look like a “moderate” in the eyes of voters.

But Hutchinson assured Republicans that his “record is as conservative as anyone in the United States of America.”

Of course, that too is patently false, if for no other reason than the fact that Governor Hutchinson is one of the few Republicans who regularly appears on CNN.

Back in May, Hutchinson appeared on CNN’s New Day to push for a supposedly “bipartisan” agreement to raise the age limit to buy a semi-automatic firearm from 18 to 21.

He also criticized Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis after he revoked the Walt Disney Company’s self-governing and special tax status after the company tried to kill Florida’s universally popular Parental Rights in Education bill.

There is a good chance that Asa Hutchinson will challenge Donald Trump for the Republican Presidential nomination in 2024.

But there is no chance of Hutchinson winning the 2024 Presidential Primary, much less a General Election matchup against literally any Democrat.

The only Republican Governor with a chance of defeating Donald Trump is Governor Ron DeSantis, and it’s really not even close.

And Trump and DeSantis are allies.
