Joe Biden has turned the southern border into an unprecedented humanitarian, economic, and national security crisis.
He has tried to pass the buck to Congress.
But the Biden regime is scrambling after one foreign national’s arrest exposed this Joe Biden lie about the border crisis.
President Joe Biden inexplicably undid effective border security policies implemented by former President Donald Trump.
Now that the flood of millions of illegal aliens pouring into the country every day have reached such record-high levels that even Democrat-controlled cities and states in the northern part of the country have been thrown into chaos, Biden is throwing his hands in the air and blaming Congress.
“What’s been negotiated would – if passed into law – be the toughest and fairest set of reforms to secure the border we’ve ever had in our country,” Biden claimed. “It would give me, as President, a new emergency authority to shut down the border when it becomes overwhelmed. And if given that authority, I would use it the day I sign the bill into law.”
But the bill Democrats are proposing isn’t exactly what they claim it to be.
It does nothing to stop the flow of illegal immigration – it only speeds up the asylum process.
President Biden does not need any new laws.
He just needs to enforce the ones that are already on the books, which is what happened when a Russian national was arrested for boarding a flight from Denmark to Los Angeles as a stowaway without a ticket, passport, or visa.
The BBC reported that authorities had “arrested [Sergey] Ochigava at the LA airport after they could not find any record of him being booked on a flight or of him applying for a visa.”
“He has been in custody since November, and faces up to five years in prison,” the report added. “According to Ochigava’s indictment documents, members of the cabin crew noticed him on the plane because he was moving between multiple unassigned seats.”
Court documents showed that Ochigava “asked for two meals during each meal service, and at one point attempted to eat the chocolate that belonged to members of the cabin crew.”
A flight attendant said that Ochigava “was trying to talk to other passengers on the flight, but most of the passengers ignored him.”
Officials said that Ochigava gave “false and misleading information about his travel to the United States.”
The indictment also said that Ochigava told border agents that he “might have had a plane ticket… but was not sure.”
If Ochigava had crossed the southern border instead of boarding a plane, he would have received thousands of dollars in taxpayer-funded gift cards, a cell phone, and entry into the United States with a court date to appear for asylum claims.
All Joe Biden has to do is enforce the laws on the books, which is what happened in the case of Ochigava.
