Joe Biden just ran into another roadblock.
Americans are breathing a sigh of relief.
And Joe Biden in panic mode after this emergency Supreme Court loss.
Chief Justice John Roberts stepped in and issued an emergency order blocking the Biden regime from ending Title 42, the Trump-era policy that allows for quick removal of illegal aliens caught crossing the border.
The Biden regime was set to end Title 42 on December 21, which had the nation preparing for an unprecedented invasion of illegal aliens – the regime predicted as many as 14,000 per day – to cross the border.
States suing the Biden regime praised Chief Justice Roberts’ emergency order.
“This Court’s review is warranted given the enormous national importance of this case. It is not reasonably contestable that the failure to grant a stay will cause an unprecedented calamity at the southern border,” the state Attorneys General of 19 different states wrote.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott warned repealing Title 42 would see his state suffer a crisis.
“If the courts don’t intervene and put a halt of removal to the Title 42 it’s going to be total chaos,” Abbott warned. “It was known from the time that Joe Biden got elected that Joe Biden supported open borders. It is known by the cartels who have sophisticated information whether or not the Biden administration is going to enforce the immigration laws or not is known across the world but most importantly, known among the cartels.”
El Paso Mayor Oscar Leeser issued a state of emergency in anticipation of President Joe Biden ending Title 42, and warned residents that local government and law enforcement could no longer guarantee their safety with the Biden regime set to transport thousands of illegal aliens into the city.
“I said from the beginning that I would call [a state of emergency] when I felt that either our asylum-seekers or our community was not safe,” Leeser stated. “I really believe that today our asylum-seekers are not safe as we have hundreds and hundreds on the streets, and that’s not the way we want to treat people.”
Biden, Democrats, and the corporate-controlled media all deny that open borders is the regime’s official policy.
But ending Title 42 confirms that to be the case.
Thankfully, the Supreme Court stepped in – even if it’s just for temporary relief.
