Hollywood might be the most secular industry in existence.
Anyone who has even a remotely positive view of religion is quickly ostracized from the business.
And one star of The Office just made a shocking admission about Hollywood’s anti-Christian bias.
Actor Rainn Wilson is best known for his performance as Dwight Schrute on the classic sitcom The Office, but lately, he’s been in the headlines for ruffling feathers.
The radical left-wing actor, who spends his free time as a climate change activist, also seems to have been put off by some of the excesses of the Left.
Last year, he ran afoul of the left-wing outrage mob when he tweeted, “[Today I learned] you can no longer say ‘nursing or breastfeeding mother’ you have to say ‘chestfeeding person.’ Just FYI.”
That benign message triggered a backlash from the Left’s radical minions.
He deleted the tweet and replied, “Yesterday I tweeted a mean crack about breastfeeding vs chestfeeding. After speaking with some Trans friends and educating myself a bit more I want to apologize for the tweet. It was adding to misinformation and meanness. I’m sorry.”
But now, Wilson may have stepped in it again after he pointed out that Hollywood clearly has an anti-Christian bias.
“I do think there is an anti-Christian bias in Hollywood,” Wilson tweeted. “As soon as the David character in ‘The Last of Us’ started reading from the Bible I knew that he was going to be a horrific villain. Could there be a Bible-reading preacher on a show who is actually loving and kind?”

In the video game and HBO series The Last of Us, the character David is a villainous cannibal leader, so Wilson’s instincts were correct.
Movies and television shows routinely portray Christians as bigots, hypocrites, idiots, and literally anything else that drives home the message that they are evil.
Christians are one of the few groups that leftists can attack with impunity.
Daniel Garza of the LIBRE Initiative tweeted in response, “Defamation of Christianity has become the most unoriginal and tired cliches in movie/TV series storylines. Its prevalence is much more than a bias against an entire people, it is meant to undermine faith and position the secular-minded as only ones with altruistic intentions.”
Garza is correct in his analysis.
The only Christian message left-wing radicals accept is one that affirms all of their secular “religious” beliefs.
For example, they love churches that promote transgenderism or pledge fealty to neo-Marxist organizations, like Black Lives Matter.
But as soon as a Christian preaches the Gospel, he or she becomes the bane of leftists’ existence.
