Nancy Mace is proving to be one of the biggest RINOs in the new Congress.
But this was too much even for Mace.
And now Nancy Mace went on Fox News and said something unthinkable about Ilhan Omar.
Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) wants to hold a vote to kick Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) off the House Foreign Affairs Committee in light of her rampant anti-Semitism.
However, McCarthy can only afford to lose four Republican votes in the process.
Rep. Greg Stuebe (R-FL) is recovering from injuries, and Reps. Victoria Spartz (R-IN) and Ken Buck (R-CO) have both said they oppose removing Rep. Omar from the Committee.
And now, RINO Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) is defending Omar by claiming that ejecting her from the Foreign Affairs Committee interferes with her Constitutional right to be a bigot.
“There’s a First Amendment in this country,” Mace told Fox News. “We don’t have to agree with everything that members say.”
Rep. Mace then falsely claimed the First Amendment’s protection of so-called “hate speech” somehow meant Rep. Omar held a Constitutional right to sit on whatever House committee she prefers.
The RINO Congresswoman even went so far as to absurdly claim that ousting Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee is “cancel culture” in action.
“I think we have to be very careful about what we are as a Constitutional republic,” Mace continued. “I am not a fan of Ilhan Omar. She’s an anti-Semite. She’s a bigot. She’s a racist. She’s a socialist. But that doesn’t mean that we cancel people in this country. Republicans don’t stand for cancel culture. And that’s essentially what this is.”
Mace complained that removing her anti-Semitic colleague from the Committee was somehow setting a precedent, even though it was former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) who set this exact standard in the last Congress.
“I think it sets a very dangerous precedent,” Mace claimed. “And you know, there’s so much anti-Semitism in this country. We should be condemning it right and left as we always have, but there’s also the First Amendment right to do that.”
Rep. Mace then tried to create a false equivalence between the Twitter Files – in which Elon Musk exposed how Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the Biden regime, and FBI violated the First Amendment by pressuring Twitter to censor conservatives – to Republicans sanctioning another Member of Congress.
“We’re all talking about the Twitter files and conservatives being censored, you know, it’s – it’s – it seems pretty hypocritical if you ask me,” Mace added.
This simple fact is that Nancy Mace just wants to be another John McCain – a so-called “Republican” the legacy media loves to get quotes from because all she does is trash conservatives.
