Democrats are facing a tough political environment this fall.
Joe Biden’s failed Presidency is dragging down Democrats across the board.
And now even more Democrats are ditching Joe Biden after he joined Kamala Harris in setting this one polling record.
For the past several months, polls have shown that Kamala Harris is the least popular Vice President over the past 50 years – at least.
But according to new polling by FiveThirtyEight, Joe Biden just became the least popular President in the past 75 years, as well.
On Monday, FiveThirtyEight released a new poll showing Biden’s approval rating had dropped to 38.4%.
With the exception of Harry Truman, this makes Biden’s approval rating historically lower than any other modern-day President.
For comparison, Donald Trump had an approval rating of 42.1% and Barack Obama had an approval rating of 46.3% at the same stage of their Presidencies.
However, a 38.4% approval rating may be generous for Joe Biden, as a recent CIVIQS poll set his approval rating at just 29%.
Many Democrats were already starting to turn on Joe Biden.
On Monday, the New York Times published a devastating poll showing a staggering 64% of Democrats want someone other than Joe Biden to run in 2024, compared to just 24% who want Biden to seek a second term.
The same poll showed President Biden’s approval rating at a dismal 33%, with 60% disapproving of the job he’s doing as President.
According to the Times, this has even more Democrats talking about replacing Biden in 2024.
“President Biden is facing an alarming level of doubt from inside his own party, with 64 percent of Democratic voters saying they would prefer a new standard-bearer in the 2024 presidential campaign, according to a New York Times/Siena College poll, as voters nationwide have soured on his leadership, giving him a meager 33 percent job-approval rating,” the Times wrote.
“Only 13 percent of American voters said the nation was on the right track — the lowest point in Times polling since the depths of the financial crisis more than a decade ago,” the report continued.
The poll also found that 70% of Democrats approve of the job Biden has done, while 25% disapprove.
According to political experts, this number should never dip below an 85% approval rating.
Put simply, Joe Biden is in trouble.
His approval ratings have been steadily declining for some time now.
And now that Democrats and members of the left-wing media are turning on Biden, his approval ratings are expected to drop even further.
More and more Democrats will publicly call on replacing Joe Biden with someone else in 2024.
