Mike Pompeo just issued a warning that has Nancy Pelosi worried about losing her job

Mike Pompeo served as Secretary of State under Donald Trump during most of his entire four years in office.

Even though Trump is no longer President, he continues to maintain a close personal relationship with Mike Pompeo.

And now Mike Pompeo just issued a warning that has Nancy Pelosi worried about losing her job.

Rumors are circulating that former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is considering running for President in 2024.

And during a recent interview with Breitbart News, Pompeo fueled these rumors even more by discussing what he believes conservatives are looking for as their next Commander-in-Chief.

“They [conservatives] want someone who hasn’t fallen in love with the city of Washington and all that comes with it. They want someone who’s willing to break glass when that’s what’s required,” began Pompeo, when asked if he thought conservatives were looking for a fighter in 2024.

Of course, should he decide to run for President, Pompeo has a lot of ground to make up with conservatives who are skeptical over his true beliefs given his past support for foreign intervention overseas and domestic spying on Americans here at home.

And the skepticism showed recently at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), where Pompeo came in fourth in the Presidential Straw Poll with just 7% of the vote.

But the 2024 Presidential election wasn’t the only thing Pompeo discussed with Breitbart News.

He also issued a warning that has Nancy Pelosi worried about losing her job.

“I’m going to spend the next two years trying to make sure that the House of Representatives doesn’t remain in the thrall of Speaker Pelosi,” said Pompeo, vowing to do everything he can to help Republicans take back the majority in 2022.

Historically, the sitting President’s party lost House seats in 22 of the last 25 midterm elections.

With the Democrats currently holding a small 5-seat majority in the U.S. House, Republicans are optimistic about their chances of taking back the House and firing Pelosi in the 2022 midterm elections.

“We’ve got to be successful in 2022. We’ve got to win elections all across America and take away at least one job – from Nancy Pelosi – and then stay true to our principles, stay in the fight, continue to put America First at the forefront of everything we do. When we do that, we will prevail,” concluded Pompeo.
