The Justice Department is rotten to its core under Attorney General Merrick Garland.
He’s willing to cross any red line to protect Joe Biden.
And Merrick Garland is in panic mode after a whistleblower dropped this bombshell allegation.
A whistleblower recently came forward to Congress with the bombshell allegation that the Biden Department of Justice meddled in the IRS investigation into a “high-profile individual” for political reasons.
The Wall Street Journal subsequently identified that “high-profile” individual as Hunter Biden, who has been under investigation for years for income tax evasion from his shady foreign business deals.
Attorneys for the whistleblower, an IRS supervisory agent, told Congress that their client was retaliated against on behalf of the Biden Justice Department by being pulled off of the Hunter Biden investigation he’d worked on since 2020.
The whistleblower alleged that Hunter Biden received “preferential treatment,” and that a senior Biden regime political appointee, later identified as Attorney General Merrick Garland, lied under oath to Congress about political interference and improper conduct in the investigation.
Now, a second whistleblower is coming forward from the IRS team investigating Hunter Biden to testify before Congress about the Justice Department’s political interference in the probe.
The new whistleblower has been on the Hunter Biden investigation since it began in 2018 as a member of the IRS’s international tax and financial crimes group.
He claims that he was pulled from the case without explanation.
The new whistleblower says that he raised concerns “for years” with the IRS about how the case was being “swept under the rug.”
He said that he was retaliated against by his supervisors by trying to move the investigation forward.
The IRS responded with allegations of potential criminal conduct, and a reprimand against the new whistleblower for violating the chain of command.
The new whistleblower said that he tried to go up the ladder of leadership at the IRS, but was ignored every step of the way.
He sent an email to IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel, and other members of the agency’s senior leadership, saying he was removed from the case for doing the right thing.
“The ultimate decision to remove the investigatory team from [redacted] without actually talking with that investigatory team, in my opinion was a decision made not to side with the investigators but to side with the US Attorney’s office and Department of Justice who we have been saying for some time has been acting inappropriately,” the whistleblower’s email read.
He never received a response from IRS leadership.
Both of the whistleblowers will soon testify behind closed doors to the House Ways and Means Committee, which has jurisdiction over the IRS.
Attorney General Merrick Garland and IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel have both repeatedly claimed that they weren’t interfering in the Hunter Biden probe or retaliating against whistleblowers.
The slow drip of whistleblowers coming forward about political interference in the Hunter Biden investigation is going to leave Merrick Garland lying awake at night.
