Karine Jean-Pierre thought her White House experience would open doors in the media world.
But her job hunting efforts just hit an embarrassing snag.
And Megyn Kelly revealed one brutal truth about Karine Jean-Pierre that left The View hosts squirming.
Jean-Pierre’s media dreams crash and burn
Former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre spent nearly three years deflecting questions and reading from prepared notes during daily press briefings.
Her performance earned her a reputation as one of the least effective Press Secretaries in recent memory.
But Jean-Pierre apparently believed her time in the Biden administration would translate into a lucrative television career.
Politico reported this week that Jean-Pierre had set her sights on landing a co-hosting position at ABC’s daytime talk show The View.
The show has historically hired former Democrat officials and left-wing personalities for its rotating panel of hosts.
Jean-Pierre made multiple appearances on The View during her tenure as Press Secretary, including a notable appearance where she defended Biden’s mental fitness just weeks after his disastrous debate performance.
She also traveled to New York for additional appearances and media profiles, apparently hoping to position herself for a permanent role.
But The View producers had different plans.
Despite Jean-Pierre’s background and her status as the first black, openly gay Press Secretary, the show reportedly showed no interest in offering her a hosting position.
The rejection came as Jean-Pierre announced she was leaving the Democrat Party to become an independent and writing a tell-all book about the Biden White House.
Kelly unleashes brutal assessment of Jean-Pierre’s qualifications
SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly didn’t mince words when discussing Jean-Pierre’s reported rejection during Thursday’s show.
Kelly expressed amazement that anyone could fail to meet The View’s standards for hiring.
"How dumb do you have to be to get rejected from The View?" Kelly wondered aloud. "Oh my God, it’s horrifying. Can you imagine? She must’ve had to go on some sort of antidepressant after that."
Kelly’s guest, Blaze TV host Stu Burguiere, shared her disbelief about the situation.
"Do you know how intellectually unimpressive you must be to not be able to impress people on The View?" Burguiere asked.
Kelly then delivered her most scathing assessment of Jean-Pierre’s abilities.
"You truly are as dumb as a goat," Kelly stated. "They’ll take anybody over there, anybody! And especially if you can say you were the former Biden press secretary and you’re a lesbian and black and you got rejected? You are dumber than dirt!"
Burguiere added his own analysis of The View’s hiring practices.
The show’s "basic programming strategy is to do a nationwide search for the four dumbest people on the planet and put them around the table," Burguiere said. "And they were like, ‘Sorry, Karine, you’re just too terrible, even for us.’"
Jean-Pierre’s record of failure comes back to haunt her
The rejection shouldn’t surprise anyone who watched Jean-Pierre’s daily press briefings over the past three years.
She became infamous for dismissing clear evidence of Biden’s cognitive decline as "cheap fakes" created by Republicans.
Jean-Pierre insisted these videos were doctored or taken out of context, even when they showed Biden obviously struggling with basic tasks.
Her "cheap fake" narrative completely collapsed after Biden’s debate performance exposed his mental struggles to tens of millions of viewers.
Throughout her tenure, Jean-Pierre consistently gaslit the American people about Biden’s condition while insiders reportedly discussed putting the President in a wheelchair.
New revelations from Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson’s book "Original Sin" detail the extent of concerns within the Biden administration about the President’s fitness.
Jean-Pierre played a central role in the cover-up, using her position to deflect legitimate questions about Biden’s health.
Now that deception appears to be catching up with her in the job market.
Even The View, known for hiring partisan Democrats regardless of their media experience, apparently drew the line at Jean-Pierre.
Her announcement that she’s writing a book called "Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines" suggests she’s trying to rebrand herself after burning bridges with Democrats.
But if she can’t even get hired by The View, Jean-Pierre’s media prospects look increasingly bleak.
Former Biden officials have reportedly called her book announcement a "grift" and "bizarre cash grab."
Jean-Pierre may discover that her reputation for incompetence follows her wherever she goes.
