Articles of impeachment introduced against Kamala Harris
Vice President Kamala Harris replaced President Joe Biden as the Democrats’ Presidential nominee and walked into the hot seat.
Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) is introducing articles of impeachment against Harris for her role in the Biden-Harris border crisis.
Ogles appeared on Fox Business’ Mornings with Maria to explain why he wanted to lead an impeachment effort against the Democrat Vice President.
“We have to hold her accountable and start defining her for her failures,” Ogles said.
Harris was tapped to serve as Biden’s “Border Czar” in 2021 in order to supposedly search for the “root causes” of illegal immigration in Central America instead of securing the border.
“Here’s the thing. We have a crisis at the southern border,” Ogles explained. “Our kids, our streets are being poisoned by fentanyl. And then crime is running rampant.”
He said Harris “demonstrated extraordinary incompetence” in doing her job and refused to enforce the country’s immigration law.
Stopping the media whitewash of Kamala Harris
Ogles argued that “we’ve got to define [Kamala Harris] before the woke media can reinvent her.”
Democrats’ media allies are already furiously working to separate Harris from the Biden regime and her record as a politician.
Multiple media outlets are already trying to claim that she was never Biden’s “Border Czar” – even though there is documented proof that those very same outlets referred to her as such on numerous occasions throughout the years.
The Biden-Harris regime’s failures on the border are a serious political liability for her.
Illegal immigration has ranked as a top issue for voters this election cycle, and it’s one in which former President Donald Trump has a major advantage.
A YouGov poll found that Trump has a 15-point advantage over Harris with voters on handling illegal immigration.
That was the biggest lead that Trump had over her on any of the 10 issues tested in the poll.
Democrats and their media allies want to parachute Harris into the Presidential race and whitewash her record.
Impeaching Harris won’t go anywhere, but it keeps her failure as “Border Czar” in the headlines, which is what Democrats and their media allies are looking to avoid.
They want voters to think she’s a fresh-faced candidate who had no role in the historically unpopular Biden Presidency.
Harris wants to hide her record as a Senator
Ogles called Harris’ record in the U.S. Senate a “disaster.”
“I mean, when you look at her policies, when you look at her talking points, when you look at what she did as a Senator, so she has a track record that we can look at. It was an absolute disaster,” Ogles stated.
The nonpartisan GovTrack rated Harris as the most radical left-wing Senator in 2019 – even more extreme than Senator Bernie Sanders (Socialist-VT).
“We’ve got to define her because the woke media is going to be complicit in trying to cover up her past in the same way they were complicit in covering up for Joe Biden,” Ogles explained. “We’ve got to be aggressive. We’ve got to define the message as we go forward. Because look, our sovereignty and republic is at stake. We’ve got to shut down the border.”
The battle to define Kamala Harris to voters will determine whether her Presidential campaign can get off the ground.
