Kamala Harris buys $8 million Malibu mansion after warning about sea level rise destroying coastal homes
Former Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff dropped $8.2 million on a luxury oceanside mansion in Malibu last month.
Harris spent years telling Americans these exact coastal areas would be underwater soon because of the "climate crisis."
According to the listing, the mansion boasts "breathtaking ocean views" from its "prime coastal location."
It's located right near Point Dume State Beach, which according to Biden-Harris administration climate models would face severe flooding damage even under the most modest projections.
The Trump administration scrapped those bogus models in June 2025.
"Our oceans are warming. Sea levels are rising," Harris wrote during her failed 2019 presidential campaign. "Extreme weather is destroying our communities. We are poisoning the planet."
As a Senator, Harris pushed the Living Shorelines Act — a bill that would've handed out $50 million a year to fight rising sea levels.
"Our country is facing a climate crisis," Harris declared. "We must also take steps to mitigate against sea level rise and prepare for the extreme weather that has become increasingly common."
As Vice President, Biden made Harris the chief spokeswoman for his billion-dollar Climate-Ready Coasts initiative.
She handed out $562 million in grants for 149 projects across 30 coastal states in April 2023.
"To live in a coastal community is to live on the front lines of the climate crisis," Harris said at the University of Miami.
The Biden-Harris Interior Department published a study claiming up to 75% of California beaches could be completely eroded by 2100.

Harris's new home features a gas-powered stove and fireplace — the exact appliances her administration targeted with regulations.
The Biden-Harris administration pushed rules that would have banned half of all gas stove models on the market.
Climate extremists wanted to force Americans to give up their gas stoves while Harris cooks on one in her $8 million beach house.
The mansion also has a tankless water heater that Biden-Harris regulators tried to ban in their final weeks in office.
Barack Obama pulled the same stunt in 2019 when he bought a nearly $15 million Martha's Vineyard mansion that federal climate models say will be underwater within 75 years.
These people don't believe a word of their own climate propaganda.
If coastal areas actually faced existential threats from climate change, Harris and Obama wouldn't be parking millions in beachfront real estate.
Climate activists have spent decades demanding Americans reduce their carbon footprints, give up gas appliances, and accept lower living standards.
Meanwhile, the people pushing this agenda fly private jets and buy oceanfront mansions in areas they claim will soon be destroyed.
Harris and Obama's coastal mansion purchases prove what conservatives have said all along — the climate crisis is a tool for control, not a genuine threat these elites take seriously.
Kamala is eyeing another Presidential bid in 2028.
Any wild claims she will make about the climate crisis are just hot air.
