The streets of Los Angeles have turned into chaos.
Democrats are losing their minds over how Donald Trump is handling it.
And John Kennedy delivered one brutal truth that left Democrats absolutely fuming.
Anti-ICE riots tear through Los Angeles as Democrats scramble for excuses
Los Angeles has been experiencing anti-ICE demonstrations that have turned violent and destructive.
Rioters have been torching vehicles, vandalizing buildings, and attacking police officers.
The escalating violence led President Donald Trump to send in National Guard forces to bring the situation under control.
But instead of supporting law and order, Democrats are having a complete meltdown over Trump’s decisive action.
Representative Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) and American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten have been among those criticizing the Trump administration’s response.
They’re more concerned about the optics of federal intervention than they are about the safety of innocent Americans.
Kennedy drops a truth bomb that has Democrats seeing red
U.S. Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) appeared on Fox News Channel’s "America’s Newsroom" and delivered some harsh truths that Democrats didn’t want to hear.
Kennedy had a simple message for Democrats who are wringing their hands over Trump’s response to the chaos.
"I think all those people [Democrats] need to pop a Zoloft and relax a little bit," Kennedy said.
The Louisiana Republican wasn’t done delivering hard truths.
Kennedy explained the situation in terms that even the most delusional Democrat should be able to understand.
"I don’t think this situation is especially complicated. You don’t need to be an astrophysicist to figure it out. We’ve got a wolf problem in Los Angeles. They’re not peaceful protesters. They’re wolves. They’re hurting people. They’re destroying property," Kennedy stated.
Kennedy’s wolf analogy perfectly captured what’s happening in Los Angeles.
These aren’t peaceful protesters exercising their First Amendment rights.
They’re violent criminals who are terrorizing innocent people and destroying property.
Democrats choose wolves over sheep
Kennedy didn’t stop there in his devastating takedown of Democrat leadership.
He pointed out that California has a leadership problem where "sheep" are trying to handle "wolves."
Kennedy criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass for their failure to protect their citizens.
Both Democrat leaders have been more focused on attacking Trump than addressing the violence in their own backyard.
"More sheep is not gonna stop the wolf problem, so the federal government sent in troops and we’re stopping the wolf problems. Last night was a better night and tonight will be better still. It’s not hard to figure out," Kennedy explained.
Kennedy believes that most Americans support Trump’s decisive action to restore law and order.
"I think most Americans are looking at this and going, stop the wolves, and a lot of them are thinking… who’s going to pay for all this? Who’s gonna pay for this destruction? Are we gonna get the bill? That’s the way I see it," Kennedy added.
Newsom and Bass double down on defending chaos
Rather than acknowledge their leadership failures, Newsom and Bass have decided to target Trump instead.
Newsom’s office has maintained that the demonstrations haven’t reached "riot" status according to Fox News Digital.
Newsom’s communications director Izzy Gardon dismissed concerns by saying, "LA riots? Have these geniuses ever seen what happens when the Eagles win a playoff game?"
Apparently, Newsom’s team thinks violent riots are comparable to few unruly sports fans..
This is the caliber of leadership California receives from Democrats.
Newsom and state Attorney General Rob Bonta are suing the Trump administration for what they call an "illegal takeover" of the California National Guard.
"Donald Trump is creating fear and terror by failing to adhere to the U.S. Constitution and overstepping his authority. This is a manufactured crisis to allow him to take over a state militia, damaging the very foundation of our republic," Newsom said according to a press release from his office.
"Every governor, red or blue, should reject this outrageous overreach. This is beyond incompetence — this is him intentionally causing chaos, terrorizing communities, and endangering the principles of our great democracy. It is an unmistakable step toward authoritarianism. We will not let this stand," Newsom added.
Mayor Bass described the deployment of guardsmen as a "chaotic escalation" in a statement on her office’s webpage.
"The fear people are feeling in our city right now is very real – it’s felt in our communities and within our families, and it puts our neighborhoods at risk. This is the last thing that our city needs, and I urge protestors to remain peaceful," Bass stated.
She appears more worried about Trump deploying troops to restore peace than addressing the actual violence plaguing her city.
Even some Democrats are breaking ranks
The situation has gotten so bad that even some Democrats are distancing themselves from the chaos.
Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) broke ranks with his party and condemned the violence.
"I unapologetically stand for free speech, peaceful demonstrations and immigration – but this is not that. This is anarchy and true chaos," Fetterman wrote on X.
"My party loses the moral high ground when we refuse to condemn setting cars on fire, destroying buildings, and assaulting law enforcement," Fetterman added.
When John Fetterman is calling out his own party for defending chaos, you know Democrats have gone too far.
The contrast couldn’t be clearer between Trump’s strong leadership and Democrat weakness.
While Trump takes action to protect Americans, Democrats are more worried about scoring political points.
Kennedy’s brutal truth-telling has exposed the Democrat Party’s priorities for all to see.
