Democrats will spread any lie necessary to promote illegal immigration.
But the facts aren’t on their side.
And Joe Biden’s open borders agenda will come crashing down after what this study proved.
Opening the borders is a top priority of Democrats.
Joe Biden already pledged to give millions of illegal immigrants amnesty.
And with the border being more unsecure than ever, that number could go into the tens of millions.
At the end of the day, most people understand the reason for their pro-illegal immigrant agenda.
Biden knows that he is losing big time, and that he will likely lose a fair re-election, if he even runs again.
So if he can hand citizenship to millions of illegal immigrants, he can count on their votes to boost his chances.
To win on this fight, Democrats spread a ton of lies.
The most repeated of those lies is that non-citizens only boost the economy.
There isn’t any real evidence to prove that, but they parrot that claim as fact.
But a new study proves it is entirely false.
Research by the Center for Immigrant Studies conducted by Steven Camarota shows that more than half of non-citizens, 55 percent, are on at least one form of welfare, compared to just 32 percent of native-born households.
This includes legal immigrants, foreign visa workers, and illegal aliens.
Camarota’s research uses the U.S. Census Bureau’s Survey of Income and Program Participation data from 2018 to make his conclusion.
It further shows that 49 percent of households headed by foreign-born residents, including naturalized U.S. citizens, use at least one welfare program.
This study is unlikely to be looked at by any liberal.
They believe that anything that disproves their agenda is “misinformation.”
The study comes at a time where illegal immigration is reaching historic highs.
Currently, there are 44.5 million foreign-born residents living in the United States, which is nearly quadruple the immigrant population in 2000.
The vast majority of those are low-skilled foreign nationals, who go on to compete for jobs against working class Americans.
At current immigration rates, the Census Bureau projects that about 1-in-6 U.S. residents will be foreign-born by 2060, when they expect the foreign-born population to hit a record 69 million.
If Biden continues his lax policy on the border, that will only occur more rapidly.
