Joe Biden’s Presidency is going down the tubes.
He’s desperately trying to spin failures as victories.
And Joe Biden was groaning after a regime official was utterly humiliated during one shocking interview.
President Joe Biden is presiding over the worst economy in a generation.
Inflation is at 40-year highs with no end in sight, the stock market and housing market are crashing, and the economy is in a recession.
Despite a never-ending string of economic disasters, the Biden regime has tried to pin the blame on anyone and everything but their failed socialist policies.
Shipping giant FedEx is even sounding the alarm on the Biden economy, warning of a major worldwide recession that could result from the President and Democrats’ mishandling of the economy.
The company’s stock price plunged after it reported that demand for shipping packages is sinking while the economy sputters, and its shipping business is slowing down in every corner of the globe.
During an interview on CNBC, FedEx CEO Raj Subramaniam was asked if the company’s slumping shipping business was a signal of a global recession.
“I think so,” Subramaniam replied. “These numbers, they don’t portend very well.”
Heather Boushey, a member of Biden’s Council of Economic Advisers, was tasked with defending the regime’s disastrous economic record during a subsequent CNBC interview.
She tried to paint a rosy picture of the Biden economy that’s completely divorced from reality.
Boushey was asked by host Andrew Ross Sorkin about the regime’s reaction to FedEx’s prediction of a global recession.
“We are at this moment in our economy where we still have continued strong job growth and low unemployment,” Boushey claimed. “And households are in a fairly good situation heading into this moment. We believe that families and businesses have what they need to weather these challenges.”
Boushey proceeded to humiliate herself on national TV by hedging her insane lie about the Biden economy.
“We’re all coming out of a global pandemic, on top of that, this war in the Ukraine that upended global energy markets,” Boushey stammered. “These are very challenging times. Then you add to it disasters, like what just happened in Puerto Rico, where they had no electricity, these kinds of climate challenges are also in front of us.”
Boushey laughably tried to blame the pandemic, Vladimir Putin, and climate change for the Biden recession in one fell swoop.
CNBC host Joe Kernen wasn’t buying Boushey’s ridiculous spin job, though, and unloaded on her rosy portrayal of the Biden economy.
“The stock market obviously has all these things wrong,” Kernen said. “That’s a pretty picture that you’ve painted, but it seems like mortgage rates have doubled in the last year, gas prices are still up, probably 60 to 70% from where they were before the President took office, inflation’s running at 8.3%, 40-year highs.”
No amount of spin from the Biden regime will change the fact the economy has taken a nosedive from their disastrous policies.
