Tesla CEO Elon Musk shocked the world when he purchased Twitter.
That move did not sit well with the Left.
Now, Joe Biden wants revenge against Elon Musk for the last reason you’d ever expect.
Elon Musk recently announced that once his purchase of Twitter was official, he would restore Donald Trump’s Twitter account.
“I think it was a morally bad decision to be clear and foolish in the extreme,” Musk announced at the Financial Times Future of the Car conference. “I do think it was not correct to ban Donald Trump, I think that was a mistake . . . It alienated a large part of the country and did not ultimately result in Donald Trump not having a voice.”
Less than 24 hours later, the Biden administration announced Elon Musk was under federal investigations.
The Securities and Exchange Commission began examining Musk allegedly missing a deadline for filing the paperwork about his purchase of five percent of Twitter’s stock.
The Wall Street Journal exclusively reports:
Federal regulators are investigating Elon Musk’s late disclosure last month of his sizable stake in Twitter Inc., TWTR -2.48% according to people familiar with the matter, a lag that allowed him to buy more stock without alerting other shareholders to his ownership.
The Securities and Exchange Commission is probing Mr. Musk’s tardy submission of a public form that investors must file when they buy more than 5% of a company’s shares, the people said. The disclosure functions as an early sign to shareholders and companies that a significant investor could seek to control or influence a company.
The Tesla Inc. chief executive made his filing on April 4, at least 10 days after his stake surpassed the trigger point for disclosure. Mr. Musk hasn’t publicly explained why he didn’t file in a timely manner.
This cannot be a coincidence.

And it comes as no surprise to anyone that one day after Musk revealed he would restore Trump’s Twitter account, the Biden administration tried to throw a monkey wrench into the sale of Twitter by putting Musk under investigation.
