President Joe Biden has been trying to ban and confiscate firearms in America since his first day in the White House.
One of the crown jewels of President Biden’s gun control agenda is reinstating the ban on so-called “assault weapons.”
But with the Senate split 50-50 between the two parties, Biden needs enough Democrats to nuke the filibuster so he can ram it through with a simple majority vote, plus Vice President Kamala Harris to break the tie.
President Biden is making the case for such unprecedented government overreach to voters on the campaign trail in an effort to fire up the anti-gun, left-wing base.
“I want to be crystal clear about what’s on the ballot this year,” Biden said during a speech in August.
“If we elect two more Senators, we keep the House – we’re going to get a lot of unfinished business done,” Biden continued, before pointing out that banning “assault weapons” is part of said “unfinished business.”
On Wednesday, Joe Biden once again declared his support for banning so-called “assault weapons,” tweeting that he will not stop until Congress passes it.
“I signed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act into law, the first major gun safety legislation in nearly 30 years,” Biden wrote. “I’m not going to stop until I again get an assault weapons ban passed.”

President Joe Biden is hell-bent on seizing firearms from the American people, and rendering them defenseless.
But thanks to all of Biden’s failures, that likely won’t happen.
