Joe Biden’s regime is hanging by a thread these days.
The failures are so obvious that even his ardent defenders can’t cover for him.
And he just received an epic takedown from a surprising source.
The border crisis is becoming a five alarm political fire for the Biden regime.
Record levels of illegal aliens are flooding the U.S.-Mexico border.
Recent images in the sleepy town of Del Rio, Texas showed 10,000 plus illegal aliens huddled under its international bridge.
The situation is so severe that Border Patrol is asking agents from other parts of the country to serve as reinforcements on the southern border.
Now Joe Biden’s former Border Patrol chief is firing back at the regime for the catastrophe.
Rodney Scott, the former head of the Border Patrol who retired last month, sent a blunt message to Senators.
Scott blasted the regime in a letter to Democratic and Republican Senate leadership and the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
In it, he said that the staff of Border Patrol, ICE, and Homeland Security had given the regime multiple options to reduce the flow of illegal aliens but the recommendations were rejected.
He followed by saying, “The Biden administration’s team at DHS is laser-focused on expediting the flow of migrants into the U.S.”
This is a stunning level of bluntness from a career law enforcement officer.
Scott admitted what conservatives have known since Biden started running on an open borders agenda.
He joins a growing chorus of government officials dealing with the border crisis to blast the regime.
Democrat Mayors in multiple Texas border towns have blasted Biden for being AWOL on the crisis.
Biden is now reaping what he sowed with the border along with his other crises putting his approval ratings in free fall.
A recent poll showed that only 35% of Hispanics in Texas approve of him.
With the 2022 midterm elections right around the corner, the border crisis could cost Democrats in key races and districts across the country.
