Joe Biden just marked the one anniversary he hopes the American people forget about

Joe Biden is clearly suffering from severe cognitive decline.

He forgets names and places just about every time he addresses the public.

But Joe Biden just marked the one anniversary he hopes the American people forget about.

On Monday, CNN released a poll showing that 75% of registered voters believe expenses and the cost of living are the “biggest economic problem facing” families today.

When broken down further, out of the 75% who believe the cost of living is the biggest problem facing America, 67% of them said either inflation (38%) or gas prices (29%) were the top economic issue.

With November’s Midterms less than four months out, this is bad news for President Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats.

The devastating new CNN poll also came out at the same time President Biden marked the one anniversary he doesn’t want Americans to remember.

During an address he delivered from the White House about inflation on July 19, 2021, President Joe Biden promised the American people that inflation would be “temporary.”

“Our experts believe, and the data shows, that most of the price increases we’ve seen were expected and expected to be temporary,” the President claimed.

Of course, this turned out to be a lie.

The Consumer Price Index – which measures the average change over time in prices paid by consumers for goods and services – has been at or above 5% for 14 consecutive months.

In June, the Consumer Price Index spiked to 9.1%, the highest increase in over four decades.

And when it comes to critical items like food, inflation is even higher, with grocery prices up 12.2% from a year ago.

But Joe Biden didn’t just call inflation “temporary,” he also downplayed it as absolutely nothing to worry about.

“Some folks have raised worries that this could be a sign of persistent inflation,” Biden said, before adding “but that’s not our view.”

President Biden also assured the public that White House “experts” guaranteed that inflation was only a short-term problem.

“Our experts believe and the data shows that most of the price increases we’ve seen are — were expected and expected to be temporary,” he said.

However, the President’s speech did contain an inkling of truth.

At the time, Biden admitted that if inflation turned out to not be “temporary,” that it would be a major problem for the country.

“Now, I want to be clear: My administration understands that if we were to ever experience unchecked inflation over the long term that would pose real challenges to our economy,” he admitted.

“There’s nobody suggesting there’s unchecked inflation on the way — no serious economist,” Biden added. “That’s totally different.”

Fast forward one year later, and it’s clear that Joe Biden was flat-out wrong when he said inflation would be “temporary.”

Polls already show inflation and high gas prices are the top concerns for voters heading into November’s Midterm elections.

And with inflation skyrocketing by the day, Democrats’ problems will continue to pile up ahead of the Midterm elections.
