Biden’s presidency is imploding.
Those around him are also being hit hard.
And Biden’s press secretary is in big trouble after this top Trump official hit her with an epic statement.
Before he might be forced out of office, Joe Biden is doing everything he can to reverse decisions made by President Donald Trump.
In a particularly petty move, he just announced this week that he is requesting resignations from officials appointed by Trump to various military service advisory boards.
Among them is former Trump Press Secretary Sean Spicer, who Biden’s current press secretary personally attacked after the announcement was made.
Spicer responded to the news, and her comments, on his Newsmax show “Spicer & Co.”
He said, “We have got some breaking news tonight. All Trump appointees, including myself, have been kicked off the boards of the United States Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and West Point in an unprecedented move by the Biden administration. I am announcing tonight I will not resign, and I will be joining a lawsuit to fight this.”
He then played a clip of White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki attacking him personally when addressing the resignation request:
“The president’s objective is what any president’s objective is to ensure you have nominees and people serving on these boards who are qualified to serve on them and who are aligned with your values…I will let others evaluate whether they think Kellyanne Conway and Sean Spicer and others were qualified or not political to serve on these boards.”
That’s when Spicer hit back, telling Psaki, “don’t you dare ever minimize or question my service to this nation” in an epic statement.
Spicer began: “I follow tradition. Press secretaries never comment on the previous press secretary and are the current one, and I’ve respected that. I haven’t responded to Jen or reacted to her, but she crossed the line today.”
He goes on to point out his qualifications, pointing to his service in the military, where he took multiple tours overseas, and his time at the U.S. Naval War College, where he is a “proud graduate.”
He concludes, stating:
“I’ve served under five different presidents of both parties. When you wear the uniform, you serve the commander-in-chief. We take an oath as officers to the Constitution, not to a party. Each of us chooses how we’re going to serve this country. I won’t ever question how anyone chooses to do that. I won’t question how you choose to do that, Jen. But don’t you dare ever minimize or question my service to this nation. You got it?”
Psaki clearly crossed the line attacking his military service.
