Jasmine Crockett fancies herself as one of the leaders of the Democrat Party.
She tried to flex her political muscle with Kamala Harris’s campaign team.
And Jasmine Crockett utterly humiliated herself with this bad plan to win the Presidency.
Far-left extremist thinks she’s the rural whisperer
Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) appeared on the Taco Policy Podcast this week and revealed just how out of touch the entire Democrat Party really is.
Crockett claimed that she could have been the secret weapon to win over rural America for Kamala Harris’s failed presidential campaign.
This is the same Jasmine Crockett who’s made a career out of radical leftist talking points and identity politics.
"When it came down to the presidential, I told the team, I said, ‘Stop sending me to all the urban centers. Yes, I can do that, yes, but you’ve got plenty of surrogates that can go do that. You need to send me to rural America.’ And they were looking like, ‘Huh?’" Crockett recalled.
The Harris team’s confusion makes perfect sense when you consider they were being pitched by someone who votes with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez 95% of the time.
Crockett actually thought rural voters would connect with a congresswoman who supports defunding the police, the Green New Deal, and taxpayer-funded sex changes.
Crockett’s track record speaks for itself
Let’s look at what Crockett brings to the table as a rural messenger.
This is the same congresswoman who pushes the standard Democrat Party line on every major issue.
But somehow, this far-left politician convinced herself that she was the perfect person to explain Democrat policies to farmers, ranchers, and small-town business owners.
"I’m like, ‘listen, I was in East Texas. I live there. I know the struggles. I know what it’s like when the paper mill is threatened with shutting down or Cooper Tire may shut down. I know and the angst. I know how these small-town economies work,’" she said.
Here’s what Crockett doesn’t seem to understand – rural Americans know exactly why those factories are shutting down.
It’s because of the very policies she supports in Washington, D.C.
Rural voters saw right through the Democrat charade
The reason Harris lost rural America by massive margins wasn’t because they didn’t have the right messenger.
It’s because they had the wrong message.
Rural voters aren’t stupid – they can spot a phony from a mile away.
They know that Democrats like Crockett talk a good game about caring about working families, but then vote to regulate their jobs out of existence.
They understand that the Left’s environmental extremism is what threatens those paper mills and tire plants.
And they’ve watched Democrats like Crockett spend more time worrying about pronouns than paychecks.
Crockett’s belief that she could have flipped rural America shows just how delusional the Democrat Party has become.
These are the same people who think men can get pregnant and that criminals are the real victims.
They live in such a bubble that they actually believe their radical agenda would appeal to common-sense Americans if they just had better marketing.
The Harris campaign eventually came around to Crockett’s rural strategy "towards the end" – but by then it was too late.
Not because of timing, but because no amount of campaigning was going to convince rural voters to support policies that would destroy their way of life.
Trump didn’t win rural America because he had better surrogates.
He won because he actually supports policies that help rural communities thrive instead of trying to regulate them into poverty.
Democrats continue to lose ground in rural America every single election cycle, and out-of-touch politicians like Crockett are exactly the reason why.
Rural voters can spot phonies like her from a mile away – politicians who think a few talking points about paper mills will make them forget about the radical policies that are destroying their communities.
Crockett can keep telling herself that Democrats just need better messengers.
But until they change their anti-American message, they’ll keep losing the voters who built this country.
