George Soros and the Democrats are not leaving anything to chance in the next Presidential election.
Joe Biden’s low approval ratings has the Left worried that their grip on power will slip away.
But George Soros devised a scheme to help Democrats SEIZE the White House in 2024.
In the 2020 election, Big Tech and the FBI colluded against Donald Trump by censoring news about Hunter Biden’s laptop.
That play worked, as a Media Research Center poll taken after the election showed one in six Joe Biden voters would not have supported him if they knew about the family’s scandals.
Leftists know a successful playbook when they see one.
And in 2022, George Soros ramped up the push to silence conservatives by funding 11 groups committed to fighting so-called “misinformation” to the tune of $30 million.
Soros also funds the “International Fact-Checking Network.”
The New York Post reports:
Later in the year, heading into the midterms, in an open letter signed by 11 other leftist groups, the Soros-funded Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights called on Big Tech CEOs to take “immediate” action to spread so-called “voting disinformation” to “help prevent the undermining” of democracy. The signatories had received a combined $30.3 million from Soros in just a four-year period.
As the Hungarian publication Remix revealed, of the 11 Facebook-approved fact checking organizations for Central and Eastern Europe, eight were funded by Soros. As is the case for the US, these fact checking groups are largely critical of the political right.
One project of the Poynter Institute specifically, the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN), was launched in 2015 with its initial funding coming from the National Endowment for Democracy (backed by the US State Department), the Omidyar Network, Google, Facebook, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and George Soros’ Open Society Foundations.
“Fact checking” is how leftists control narratives on the Internet.
So-called “fact checkers” are nothing more than left-wing activists who call Republicans liars because they disagree with Democrats.
But social media companies – like Facebook – rely on “fact checkers” to decide what is true and what gets censored.
In 2020, former Democrat Party operative and current Facebook head of communications Andy Stone said the platform was censoring the Hunter Biden laptop story until fact checkers could dig into the matter.
No such fact check ever took place.
George Soros is funding fact checking groups to create a mirage of “neutral arbiters of truth.”
But in reality they are just ideological allies whose job it is to provide the cover for Big Tech to silence conservatives.
And this is the Democrats’ backup plan for the 2024 election.
