Donald Trump was all smiles after this RINO’s political career was ruined

The Never-Trump movement is desperately trying to remain relevant.

They’re furious that Trump is set to make a comeback for the ages.

And Donald Trump was all smiles after this RINO’s political career was ruined.

The Never-Trumpers look like buffoons after Joe Biden’s colossal disaster of a presidency.

President Trump is still the leader of the Republican Party while he looks set to make another bid for the White House.

After the overhyped events of January 6, establishment RINOs in the Washington, D.C. Swamp thought they had found their opportunity to purge former President Donald Trump from the GOP.

In Congress, a total of ten traitorous Republicans betrayed conservatives and sided with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) by voting to impeach then-President Trump.

During this primary season, Trump has set his sights on ending the political careers of these Pelosi-supporting, elitist sellouts.

One of the ten RINOs who voted for impeachment was Rep. Peter Meijer (R-MI), who represents Michigan’s 3rd Congressional District.

After Rep. Meijer showed his true colors with his impeachment vote, he began siding with President Joe Biden on a rather routine basis, voting for gun control, the pork-filled so-called “infrastructure” bill that spent more on left-wing pet projects – like climate change – than actual infrastructure, and Biden’s bloated, left-wing budget.

Despite these betrayals, Rep. Meijer was thought by many self-proclaimed political “experts” to have the safest route to re-election of any of the ten impeachment Republicans.

The Congressman’s family is known for founding a popular grocery store chain in the state that bears the family name, and along with having the establishment’s full financial support, western Michigan is said to be trending to the Left, leaving many to believe he could avoid Conservative backlash.

But for his part, President Trump endorsed a former official in his administration, and first-time candidate for office, John Gibbs, against Rep, Meijer in the Republican Primary.

Gibbs, a leading black conservative, has trailed Meijer in fundraising throughout the race, as the Washington, D.C. Swamp poured millions into propping up the RINO’s campaign.

And in a closely watched primary election, John Gibbs pulled off a stunning upset beating Congressman Meijer by nearly 4 points despite being outspent by a significant margin.

While the Congressman had counted on outspending his opponent, Gibbs’s victory was fueled by building support with the conservative grassroots in the district.

“(Meijer) had all the money in the world, the establishment backing and whatnot, but the people stood up and spoke,” Gibbs said after the victory. “The people said that they would not be bought. This is an important lesson for the powers that be out there to learn, that they’ve really got to respect what the people want.”

President Trump celebrated the victory on Truth Social by putting the rest of the impeachment Republicans on notice.

“Fantastic night in Michigan!,” the former President wrote. “John Gibbs WON with a big surge in the end. Not a good time for Impeachers – 7 down, 3 to go! Thank you Michigan!”

Rep. Meijer becomes the second impeachment RINO to be defeated by a Trump-backed conservative in the 2022 Midterms following Rep. Tom Rice (R-SC), who was routed earlier this year.

Four of the other impeachment RINOs wised up and retired rather than face conservatives in a Republican Primary.

President Trump may be out of office, but he’s still shaping the future of the Republican Party much to the dismay of Never Trumpers.
