Donald Trump just shook up a Senate race with this game-changing announcement

Donald Trump may be out of office but he’s still dominating the conversation.

He’s shaping the future of the GOP.

And he just shook up a Senate race with this game-changing announcement.

The battle for control of the Senate is heating up as the primary season begins to take shape.

With the Senate deadlocked with 50 Senators from each party, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) majority is hanging by a thread.

And in the narrowly divided swing state of Arizona, their U.S. Senate race will be one of the biggest of this entire election cycle.

Ultimately, whoever wins that race could very well decide which party controls the Senate for at least the next few years.

Incumbent Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ) is up for reelection after winning the seat by narrowly defeating Republican Martha McSally in a 2020 special election.

As a rubber stamp for Joe Biden’s failed policies, Kelly is considered one of the most vulnerable Democrats up for reelection in the 2022 Midterms.

But after Martha McSally lost the state’s 2018 Senate race and the 2020 special election, the Arizona GOP was left searching for a new crop of conservative leaders in the state.

That has resulted in a large field of Republican candidates fighting for the right to face Senator Kelly in November.

With five major Republican candidates in the race and polling consistently showing the field bunched together, the race was set to be wide open heading into the August 2 primary.

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich had been considered the front runner after twice winning office statewide.

But one of the other challengers was Blake Masters, a former employee of major Republican donor and PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel’s venture capital firm, who is a political outsider running as an America First conservative.

Now, after running on a strong America First platform, Masters has earned a game-changing endorsement from President Donald Trump.

“Blake is Strong on Border Security, in particular, the disastrous Southern Border where people are pouring into the U.S. by the millions, and destroying our Country,” President Trump said in a statement. “Additionally, he will Cut Taxes and Regulations, be Tough on Crime, and Support our Military and our Vets.  Blake will fight for our totally under-siege Second Amendment, and WIN!”

Arizona is ground zero for the invasion unleashed by Joe Biden’s southern border crisis, and Blake Masters has made border security a centerpiece of his campaign for U.S. Senate.

President Trump joins the influential conservative organization, Club for Growth, and Master’s former boss, Peter Thiel, in backing his campaign.

While the corporate-controlled media has tried to cast doubts on the power of Trump’s endorsement in Senate primaries this year, it has proven to be decisive.

In Pennsylvania, TV personality Dr. Mehmet Oz won a narrow victory in a crowded field for the state’s U.S. Senate Republican Primary on the strength of Trump’s endorsement.

In Ohio, J.D. Vance broke out of the pack to defeat four other major challengers in the state’s U.S. Senate Republican Primary after receiving the Trump endorsement.

Masters shares a similar background to Vance as first-time candidates running explicitly as pro-Trump, America First conservatives.

Both Vance and Masters also received the support of Peter Thiel-funded Super PACs, as both previously worked for Thiel.

With Trump’s endorsement, Masters could very well be the frontrunner to take back Arizona’s U.S. Senate seat from a Joe Biden-controlled puppet.
