Donald Trump had a secret meeting with the FBI that did not go as anyone planned

The FBI siege on Mar-a-Lago was not the first encounter between Donald Trump and the FBI.

Americans continue to learn more details about this horror story.

And Donald Trump had a secret meeting with the FBI that did not go as anyone planned.

Back on June 3, FBI agents arrived at Mar-a-Lago after a grand jury issued a subpoena for documents former President Donald Trump supposedly kept after leaving the White House.

Two months before his Florida home was raided by the FBI, President Donald Trump secretly received a grand jury subpoena for classified documents belonging to the National Archives, and voluntarily cooperated by turning over responsive evidence, surrendering security surveillance footage and allowing federal agents and a senior Justice Department lawyer to tour his private storage locker, according to a half dozen people familiar with the incident,” Just the News reports.

Trump greeted the agents and cooperated fully, giving the feds a complete tour of the area in question and bent over backwards to accommodate their every request.

“Trump signaled his full cooperation, telling the agents and prosecutor “look, whatever you need, let us know,” according to two eyewitnesses,” Just The News continued. “The federal team was surprised by the President’s invitation and asked for an immediate favor: to see the 6-foot-by-10-foot storage locker where his clothes, shoes, documents and mementos from his Presidency were stored at the compound.”

But after President Trump and his team turned over boxes of documents, they stopped hearing from the Justice Department.

And then, on Monday evening, an army of heavily armed FBI shock troops stormed Mar-a-Lago executing the first raid in American history on a former President’s home.

“After mid-June, the government had no other official contacts with the President’s lawyers until they showed up unannounced on Monday and executed the search warrant, ousting the President’s lawyers and staff and spending nine hours collecting evidence,” Just The News explained. “Sources told Just the News they collected about 12 boxes of evidence.”

Donald Trump didn’t say a peep about the first meeting with federal agents over the document request.

He also happily cooperated with – and even greeted – the agents personally.

The only reason to escalate that situation by deploying 30 armed federal agents to Mar-a-Lago is to try to intimidate Donald Trump from running against Joe Biden in 2024.
