Florida Governor Ron DeSantis gets under the Left’s skin.
He left jaws on the floor with his latest move.
And Democrats were seething with rage after Ron DeSantis dropped this epic truth bomb.
The race for Governor in Florida is set after Rep. Charlie Crist (D-FL) won the Democrat Primary, and the right to challenge Governor Ron DeSantis.
Rep. Crist, a former “Republican” Governor who switched parties after major losses, is facing an uphill battle in his race to unseat the wildly popular Florida Governor.
Shortly after winning the Democrat Primary, Crist stepped in it with an outrageous attack on DeSantis voters.
“Those who support the Governor should stay with him and vote for him, and I don’t want your vote,” Crist said. “If you have that hate in your heart, keep it there. I want the vote of the people of Florida who care about our state. Good Democrats. Good independents. Good Republicans. Unify with this ticket.”
This is an unbelievable comment from Rep. Crist, who absolutely must pick up votes from DeSantis Republicans if he wants to have any chance of winning in November.
In an appearance on The Mark Levin Show, Governor DeSantis unloaded on Congressman Crist for insulting Florida voters with his petty insults.
“[Crist] is insulting the voters,” DeSantis rightly pointed out. “He’s saying that people that have supported us since I’ve been Governor, not just who voted for me in ‘18 but a lot of the support — we’ve grown because they are parents that cared about their kids’ education and so they support our agenda.”
After winning a razor-thin election in 2018, Ron DeSantis has seen his support soar in Florida after delivering one conservative victory after another in his first term as Governor.
“It’s not because of hate in their hearts,” he continued. “You have workers whose jobs were saved because we kept the state open. [Crist] wanted to lock it down. It’s not hate in their hearts. They’re just very appreciative of the leadership.”
As a Congressman, Charlie Crist sent an official letter to the Governor demanding that he implement lockdowns, and shut down Florida’s entire economy, during the pandemic.
“He’s also referred to conservative voters as the ‘toothless set,’” DeSantis explained. “And so this is a guy that is, I think, he realizes that this is the end of his career. So he’s lashing out. He’s attacking people. And this is just not a way to win an election.”
Governor DeSantis continued by ripping Rep. Crist for his ludicrous claim that President Joe Biden is the “best President of his lifetime.”
“He says Biden’s an exceptional President,” the Governor said. “He votes with Biden 100% of the time in the Congress, including this most recent bill to mobilize 87,000 IRS agents, and to impose taxes on various forms of energy in the United States.”
Charlie Crist is setting himself up to be trounced by Ron DeSantis this fall by running as a left-wing California extremist in Florida.
