Clarence Thomas is the fiercest defender of life on the Supreme Court.
He isn’t afraid to call out the left-wing’s radical pro-abortion agenda.
And Democrats just sent a sick threat to Clarence Thomas to try to stop him from making this decision.
Ending abortion has been a long-shot since the Roe v. Wade decision.
It made it impossible for states to outright ban abortion, as the decision essentially declared abortion a human right.
Because of this, more than 60 million abortions have occurred in America since the decision.
But finally, an end to Roe v. Wade is in sight.
The case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health, relates to the constitutionality of Mississippi’s ban on most abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy, and the ruling has a good chance of overturning Roe v. Wade.
Democrats are most afraid of Justice Thomas due to his past comments showing support for ending abortion.
“The plurality and [Chief Justice John Roberts] ultimately cast aside this jurisdictional barrier to conclude that Louisiana’s law is unconstitutional under our precedents,” Justice Clarence Thomas wrote in a dissent to a ruling relating to abortion. “But those decisions created the right to abortion out of whole cloth, without a shred of support from the Constitution’s text. Our abortion precedents are grievously wrong and should be overruled.”
So to try to change his, and others minds on the court, the Left is resorting to threats.
They have come out and stated that if any attempt to reverse Roe v. Wade is made, they will push harder to stack the Supreme Court with liberals.
A number of Democrat lawmakers, spearheaded by Sens. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., and Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., promised to stack the Supreme Court if Roe v. Wade is overturned.
“It will inevitably fuel and drive an effort to expand the Supreme Court if this activist majority betrays fundamental constitutional principles,” Blumenthal said. “It’s already driving that movement.”
Already, Democrats have made moves towards this.
Last month, congressional Democrats introduced a bill that would increase the number of justices on the Supreme Court from 9 to 13.
This would nullify the conservative majority currently on the court, and allow Democrats to go crazy with their left-wing agenda, knowing that the courts will back them.
It seems they are so afraid of ending abortion that they will result to threats.
