Chuck Schumer thought he came out of the Midterm elections as the big winner.
One mistake revealed this painful political reality.
And Chuck Schumer was furious after a leading Democrat made this colossal blunder.
President Joe Biden is presiding over the worst border crisis in American history.
This year saw record-breaking numbers of illegal aliens enter the country, and 2023 promises to be even worse.
The Washington, D.C. political establishment is using the crisis as an excuse to make another push for amnesty.
Congressional Democrats and RINOs are frantically working together on a last-ditch effort to ram through an immigration bill with empty border security promises and amnesty for over two million illegal aliens living in the country illegally under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
DACA is a program implemented by former President Barack Obama that allowed illegal aliens who came to the country before they were 16 years old to have work permits, but not citizenship.
Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) is one of the most extreme left-wing Senators in the nation, but he’s remained a relatively anonymous backbencher for most of his career.
During an appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press, he dismissed the concerns of Ohio voters worried about immigration, claiming that it was something only the “far-right” cared about.
“I think my voters in Ohio are reasonable,” Brown told host Chuck Todd. “We’re a slightly lean-Republican state now.”
Once a swing state, Ohio is quickly trending in Republicans’ favor after former President Donald Trump easily carried the state during his two Presidential campaigns.
“I don’t hear much about immigration from voters, except for people on the far-right that always want to gain political advantage by talking about it,” Brown claimed.
Senator Brown, a left-wing radical, is completely blowing off Ohio voters who care about the invasion of illegal aliens happening at the border.
Former President Trump and Republican Senator-elect J.D. Vance scored big victories in Ohio by putting border security and illegal immigration front and center in their campaigns.
“When serious-minded people talk about it, they’re looking for something like Thom [Tillis] and Kyrsten [Sinema] were suggesting, and they’re also emphasizing the dreamer kids, the DACA kids, who are, as I said, essentially Americans except for the paperwork,” Brown continued.
Senators Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) and Thom Tillis (RINO-NC) are pushing the last-minute amnesty bill during the lame duck session of Congress.
Senator Brown is considered one of the most vulnerable Senators up for re-election in 2024 as the last Democrat to hold a statewide elected office in Ohio.
Dismissing the concerns of Ohioans on illegal immigration is a major political miscalculation by Brown.
Former President Donald Trump would almost certainly carry the state rather easily for a 3rd time in the 2024 Presidential election.
To win re-election, Brown would need to get to the support of a significant number of Trump voters to have any shot.
Now, he’s completely dismissed a top issue for Trump supporters in a state that had one of the biggest swings towards Republicans during the Trump Presidency.
Sherrod Brown is writing his political obituary with his complete disregard for Ohio voters.
