Chris Christie has been a pain in the neck for conservatives.
He’s about to become a big problem for his friends in the Democrat Party.
And Chris Christie made one shocking announcement that sent Democrats into a panic.
RINO former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s political career appeared to be finished after he dropped out of the Republican Presidential Primary before a single vote was cast.
He ran a hopeless campaign for President centered on whining about former President Donald Trump, which many observers thought was an extended audition for another gig in media.
Christie appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America and claimed that an Independent campaign for President could be in the cards if he saw a path to victory.
“Well, what I’ve said in the past is that, I’d have to see a path for anybody, not just me, but I think anybody who would accept that would need to see a path to 270 electoral votes,” Christie said. “If there was ever a time in our lifetime when a third-party candidate could make a difference. I think it’s now the question, though, is, what kind of difference.”
The centrist group No Labels is in the process of securing ballot access in various states around the country for their potential Presidential candidate.
The group has said that its goal is to give voters a choice in the event November’s General Election comes down to a rematch between Trump and President Joe Biden.
Christie denied any interest in a No Labels when he was running as a Republican, but now, he seems to at least be open to the idea.
“Oh, I don’t know,” Christie said when being asked about the No Labels Presidential candidate. “There’d be a long conversation between me and Mary Pat [Christie’s wife], I can guarantee you that.”
No Labels is reportedly searching for a Presidential candidate – Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) and former RINO Maryland Governor Larry Hogan have been mentioned as potential options.
Democrats are terrified that a No Labels campaign could cost Biden the election by siphoning off Democrat voters.
In battleground states, a No Labels candidate could tip a close state into Trump’s column.
Christie running as No Labels’ Presidential candidate would be a five-alarm fire for Democrats.
He made his brand as the anti-Trump candidate and had the worst favorability numbers of any candidate in the Republican Primary field.
Christie running as No Labels’ candidate would only serve to take votes away from Biden.
The former New Jersey Governor could do Donald Trump one last favor by mounting a hopeless third-party Presidential campaign.
