Hollywood actress Cheryl Hines learned the hard way that Democrats don't tolerate anyone who breaks ranks.
She found herself in their crosshairs simply for standing by her husband.
And Cheryl Hines broke down when she revealed what Democrats did to her and RFK Jr.
Socialist Democrats went after RFK Jr.'s wife with vicious attacks
"Curb Your Enthusiasm" star Cheryl Hines sat down with Joe Rogan and opened up about the brutal reality of being married to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
The backlash started before Kennedy even left the Democrat Party.
"Even when Bobby started running for president, even when he started running as a Democrat, people were angry," Hines told Rogan.
The attacks got worse when Kennedy announced his Presidential campaign in April 2023.
"They were coming always after him, but it kicked up a notch when he decided to run for president," Hines explained.
Rogan brought up how Bill Maher revealed that Jimmy Kimmel won't speak to him anymore because Maher had dinner with President Trump.
"Bill Maher is very much a left-wing person," Rogan said.
"He has not changed his opinions at all, but he's always been very reasonable and willing to criticize the Left as well as the Right."
"You're not supposed to talk to people that are the president of the United States?" Rogan asked.
The attacks pushed Hines to her breaking point
Hines said she could relate to Maher's experience.
She paraphrased Maher's complaint: "I sat down with the president and people went insane."
"I know that feeling," Hines admitted.
Rogan ripped into how the Left treats anyone who steps out of line.
"They're just mean," Rogan said.
"Like, when it comes to politics, people just get so mean. It's like, these are not the type of people you ever want in any position of power."
Rogan called leftists "the least charitable, most vicious people" who "will pull out all the stops, take things out of context, lie about you."
Hines agreed that party affiliation didn't matter.
"Even if you're in their party, it doesn't matter," Hines said.
The attacks hammered Hines.
"It's just weird, you know," Hines said.
"And there was like a feeling of doom for me."
Kennedy developed thick skin from decades of attacks, but Hines struggled.
"Bobby's tough," Hines said.
"He's so friggin' tough."
Rogan joked that RFK Jr. had skin "like a rhinoceros," and Hines revealed how she really felt.
"Oh my God, I'm not gonna make it!" Hines said.
Political backstabbing shocked the Hollywood actress
Hines said one thing about politics still throws her.
Politicians will tear each other apart in public, then act like best friends minutes later.
"They will viciously attack each other, and then a minute later in the hallway it's like, 'Hey, how's it going?'" Hines said.
Hines said she can't wrap her head around it.
"I'm still angry about what just happened in there, and they're already over it," Hines explained.
"They're already like, 'Yeah, that's politics. That's what we do.'"
Hines spent her career in Hollywood, one of the most cutthroat industries in America.
"Hollywood is competitive, and it's hard, and you are hustling, you're working really hard, but you're not trying to tear other people down," Hines told Rogan.
The Left makes Hollywood look tame.
Maher has been blacklisted by Hollywood's woke gatekeepers despite being a lifelong liberal.
He was nominated for 58 Emmys but won only once because the entertainment industry punishes anyone who criticizes leftists.
"I speak freely, and this woke town f***ing hates that," Maher said.
Socialist Democrats demand absolute loyalty and destroy anyone who breaks from the script.
Kennedy went from Democrat challenger to independent candidate in October 2023, then endorsed Trump after watching the Democrat Party abandon its values.
He dropped out in August 2024 and backed Trump.
His Cabinet position as Health and Human Services Secretary made him a permanent enemy of radical leftists.
Kennedy even suggested faking a separation from Hines to shield her from attacks.
"Some people were very upset that I was even married to Bobby," Hines told Fox News in October 2025.
"They were vocally coming at me because I'm married to Bobby. So Bobby felt like, 'You shouldn't be having to take that heat. So why don't we just say we're separated?'"
Hines called the suggestion "sweet" but said no.
"What needed to happen — and what did happen — is we got closer together," Hines said.
The Left hasn't forgiven Kennedy or his wife for refusing to stay on the plantation.
Hines survived the attacks and came out stronger.
Her experience shows exactly what Socialist Democrats do to anyone who dares think for themselves.
