The crisis at the southern border is spiraling out of control.
It’s gotten so bad that even some of Joe Biden’s former allies are starting to turn on him.
And Barack Obama just went on ABC News and made one jaw-dropping admission about Joe Biden’s border crisis that no one expected to hear.
Border Patrol agents encountered more than 200,000 illegal aliens at the southern border in August – the second straight month agents encountered more than 200,000 illegal aliens trying to sneak into America.
Joe Biden appointed Kamala Harris as “border czar” in March to try to give the appearance that his administration was working on solving the crisis.
And Biden’s allies in the corporate-controlled media did their best to keep the American people distracted from the situation at the border.
But they couldn’t hide the horrific drone footage taken last week in Del Rio, Texas, where 15,000 Haitian illegal aliens huddled together under a large bridge.
The scenes were so horrendous that some of Biden’s allies in the corporate-controlled media even turned on him and demanded answers, especially after Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas admitted that the vast majority were released into the United States.
On Tuesday, ABC’s Good Morning America brought Barack Obama on the show in hopes that he could provide some cover for Biden on the border crisis.
“Immigration is tough. It always has been because, on the one hand, I think we are naturally a people that wants to help others,” Obama said about immigration policy. “And we see tragedy and hardship and families that are desperately trying to get here so that their kids are safe, and they’re in some cases fleeing violence or catastrophe.”
Obama called Joe Biden “big hearted,” before veering into some tough questions for Biden.
“And the question is now: Are we gonna get serious about dealing with this problem in a systemic way, as opposed to these one-offs where we’re constantly reacting to emergencies?” asked Obama. “And I think that that’s something that every American should wanna put an end to.”
But then Barack Obama said something about illegal immigration that left viewers jaws on the ground.
“At the same time, we’re a nation state. We have borders,” declared Obama.
“The idea that we can just have open borders is something that . . . as a practical matter, is unsustainable,” he ended.
Barack Obama knows that polls show Biden’s handling of the immigration crisis is the weakest issue of his Presidency and could cost the Democrats their majority in 2022.
So he’s using tougher rhetoric that he knows most Americans will agree with to try to help provide some cover for Joe Biden’s tanking Presidency.
