California Senator Adam Schiff appeared on MSNBC to discuss the Trump Administration’s aggressive approach to combating drug cartels and terrorist organizations.
What came out of his mouth left viewers wondering if Democrats have completely lost touch with reality.
Host Chris Hayes was discussing Attorney General Pam Bondi’s announcement that the administration would treat Antifa the same way they’re treating violent drug cartels – organizations that have now been designated as foreign terrorist organizations.
That’s when Schiff decided to take the conversation into conspiracy theory territory.
"We can’t rule that out," Schiff said when asked if Trump might use military force against domestic groups. "We can’t rule that out."
The Senator from California – who spent years pushing the Russia collusion hoax – suggested that President Trump might actually order military strikes on American citizens on American soil.
This wasn’t a slip of the tongue or a misunderstanding.
Schiff doubled down, warning about what he called the "abuse" and "misuse of the military in American cities."

The California Senator’s comments reveal just how disconnected Democrats have become from reality.
Trump’s had the military targeting drug boats in the Caribbean that the administration says belong to drug smugglers, after officially labeling groups like Tren de Aragua as terrorist organizations.
Federal authorities have captured multiple fugitives from the FBI’s "Ten Most Wanted" list and arrested key leaders of MS-13 since implementing this enhanced approach.
Attorney General Pam Bondi made it clear that Antifa – the organization behind years of riots in American cities – would face the same serious federal charges as these other terrorist groups.
Enhanced surveillance, asset seizure, and federal prosecution await anyone caught funding or organizing violent riots.
But rather than acknowledging progress against violent criminals, Democrats are spinning conspiracy theories about military action on American soil.

Democrats are terrified that their decades-long protection racket for left-wing violence is finally coming to an end.
For years, they’ve treated Antifa like misguided college kids instead of the organized domestic terrorists they actually are.
While conservative protesters get labeled as "insurrectionists" and thrown in jail, Antifa militants who attacked federal buildings and assaulted police officers got slapped on the wrist.
That double standard is over.
The Trump Administration isn’t playing games with groups that use violence and intimidation to advance their political agenda.
Schiff’s concerns stem from the administration’s military strikes against vessels in the Caribbean and the designation of certain criminal organizations as foreign terrorist organizations.
"It started with blowing up ships," Schiff explained during the MSNBC interview. "You then have the president say, well, we may go to land targets now in Venezuela or elsewhere."
The California Senator worried about the precedent this sets for domestic enforcement.
The timing here isn’t coincidental either.
Just this week, new research revealed the extensive funding networks behind Antifa operations, showing these aren’t spontaneous grassroots protests but well-coordinated campaigns backed by left-wing billionaires.
Now that their network is exposed and their activities are being treated as the domestic terrorism they’ve always been, Democrats are desperately trying to flip the script.
Instead of defending organized violence, they should be thanking President Trump for finally bringing law and order back to American cities.
But that would require admitting they were wrong to enable this chaos for so long.
And Adam Schiff has never been wrong about anything, just ask him.
