The Democrat Party will do whatever it takes to keep control of power in Washington, D.C.
They keep pushing legislation that’s more and more socialist by the day.
And now a top Republican Senator just slammed the Democrats’ election reform bill for these shocking reasons.
Senate Democrats tried to ram through their pivotal “For the People Act” bill this week that the GOP has labeled the “For The Corrupt Politicians Act” because of its wide-reaching transformations of the U.S. election system.
Tennessee Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn recently railed against the bill, saying “the Left has launched an assault on having free and fair elections.”
“They are advocating policies that are going to result in removing the ability of states and counties to manage their own elections,” Blackburn continued.
One key proposal in the bill would nationalize election systems in the United States, essentially stripping state and local authorities of any ability to perform and facilitate their own elections.
Additionally, the bill would force conservative non-profits to disclose small donors for the sake of “transparency,” which would leave them open to attacks and harassment by Antifa and other far-left radicals.
Blackburn concluded that “the more people know about this bill, the less they like it.”
According to Fox News, the so-called “For the People Act,” or S. 1, “is the largest overhaul of U.S. election law in at least a generation and covers many aspects of the voting process, including requiring states to automatically register eligible voters and offer same-day voter registration.”
A plan so large and encompassing should not be drafted and then rammed down the throats of Americans by one party that represents just half of all Americans.

While Republicans were able to successfully filibuster S. 1 on its first test vote this week, Democrat activists are hammering away at Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) to try and force them to cave and gut the filibuster.
