A leaked State Department cable shows Hillary Clinton had something very different to say about Wuhan back in ’09

There’s a lot in the Clintons’ past they likely don’t want anyone knowing about.

So far they seemed to have made it all “disappear” in one way or another.

But a leaked State Department cable shows Hillary Clinton had something very different to say about Wuhan back in ‘09.

Last year as the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting tyrannical lockdowns wreaked havoc on the country, Hillary Clinton told anyone who would listen that Donald Trump was a total racist for suggesting the virus may have originated in a lab in China.

However, according to some newly leaked information, Clinton had some very different views on the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Back in 2009, when Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State, she expressed concerns about the Wuhan lab and its newly accredited biosafety level 4 clearance.

Clinton actually stated that it could lead to “biological weapons proliferation.”

The cable from 2009, which was obtained by WikiLeaks and dug up by Human Events, looks to have been sent in June of that year to member nations ahead of Australia Group’s plenary meeting in Paris.

The Australia Group is an informal forum of countries that, according to its website, seek “to ensure that exports do not contribute to the development of chemical or biological weapons.”

Not surprisingly, China is not a member of the group.

In the cable Clinton specifically addresses France, writing:

The U.S. believes participants would benefit from hearing about your experiences assisting China in setting up a Biosafety Level-4 (BSL-4) laboratory at the Wuhan Institute of Virology from the export control and intangible technology transfer perspectives. We are particularly interested to know how China plans to vet incoming foreign researchers from countries of biological weapons proliferation concern.

Earlier on in the cable, Clinton voiced genuine concerns about China’s involvement in biological weapons proliferation, in general.

She asked Australia to relay any information they had about China’s Institutes of Biological Products.

While Clinton never accuses China of any wrongdoing or plans to do anything wrong, she in no uncertain terms implies that she has concerns about China’s biological weapons programs.

But her tune completely changed in March of 2020 when Trump referred to COVID-19 as the “Chinese virus” because of its origin point.

Clinton tweeted, “The president is turning to racist rhetoric to distract from his failures to take the coronavirus seriously early on, make tests widely available, and adequately prepare the country for a period of crisis. Don’t fall for it. Don’t let your friends and family fall for it.”

Of course, the Chinese state-run media picked up on this and proclaimed it to be the truth.

Now that the lab leak theory has really picked up steam, more information seems to be emerging about the blatant hypocrisy on the Left.

Like so many other things in the Clinton world, it’s likely this will magically disappear, but one can hope that it’s enough of a leak that Hillary Clinton is forced to eat her words.
