Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) abused his position as Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee to perpetrate the “Russian collusion” hoax against former President Donald Trump.
The California Congressman recently made the rounds in the corporate-controlled media, lying about having seen classified intelligence that showed Trump was working with the Russians, even though it’s been proven that no such evidence exists.
Schiff’s repeated lies about the “Russian collusion” hoax came back to bite him after the new House Republican majority kicked him off the House Intelligence Committee.
Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said last November when he announced that he intended to remove Schiff that the Congressman “had lied to the American public time and again.”
Now, a Republican Congressman is adding to Rep. Schiff’s misery with a new bill.
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) is introducing a resolution that would end Schiff’s abuse of classified information.
The Preventing Extreme Negligence with Classified Information Licenses (PENCIL) Resolution would prohibit Rep. Schiff specifically from ever receiving any classified information.
The resolution’s title is a nod to a nickname that former President Donald Trump used for Schiff on social media, “little pencil neck.”
“The resolution expresses the sense of the U.S. House of Representatives that Congressman Adam Schiff should not have access to classified information, should be investigated by the House Ethics Committee, and should have his comments made during any proceeding of Congress regarding Russian Collusion and the Trump campaign be officially struck from the record,” Gaetz’s office said in a statement.
Congressman Schiff was called out in the resolution for the bald-faced lie he told in 2019 after becoming chair of the House Intelligence Committee.
At that time, he claimed that there was “clear evidence on the issue of collusion in regard to Trump” with Russia.
“Every Member of Congress can access classified information by virtue of their election,” Gaetz told Fox News. “Only the most egregious actions would warrant removal, and Adam Schiff has undoubtedly crossed the Rubicon. Democrats have willfully ignored the national security consequences of Members like Schiff misrepresenting and leaking classified information to the press.”
Shortly after he was kicked off of the Intel Committee, Schiff announced that he was running for the Senate in 2024.
He whined about getting kicked off the Committee on the Chinese video app TikTok, which freely shares all its users’ data – including those in America – with the Communist Chinese government.
A bipartisan consensus is growing to ban TikTok because of its national security risks, proving that Rep. Schiff hasn’t learned anything.
